 As the most senior role on the Mediacom programmatic team, your mission is to create an industry-leading capability and future-proof it with your passion for all thing programmatic, investment in talent management, and ability to create tangible solutions to further our clients’ businesses.


YOUR IMPACT:

Practice Leadership

  • Shape the vision and identify the north star for programmatic at Mediacom. Create guiding principles for the practice and establish tangible and measurable goals.  Ensure that Mediacom values are represented and applied to the programmatic practice.
  • Bring ideas and productize new programmatic service offerings to drive value for our clients and create new revenue opportunities for the agency
  • Create engagement/innovation roadmaps with DSP partners and drive development of product features relevant to the practice and clients’ needs
  • Foster critical relationships with Mediacom CEO, Finance leads, Planning & Strategy, Customer Strategy and collaborate with other discipline leads and Mediacom specialty groups to create new agency and client solutions
  • New business participation and development of programmatic collateral
  • Be visible in the industry and participate in forums, conferences, and provide thought leadership pieces to leading industry publications

 Client Management

  • Collaborate with Directors to create bespoke programmatic roadmaps that align with broader client roadmaps and priorities and drive accountability via quarterly check-ins
  • Commercial Models: work with Mediacom finance and Directors on commercial models and defining scope of work deliverables
  • Foster regularly cadenced touchbases with clients via annual meetings, QBRs, etc., provide POVs on relevant industry and client specific topics. Be the resource the clients call on!

Team Leadership

  • Talent Management: You are an inspiring and motivational leader with the ability to extract the best out of people. You will provide programmatic leadership and mentorship to Directors and work closely with them to grow junior team members.
  • Talent Training & Education: ensure certifications & trainings are completed by all team members and identify upskill opportunities (including cross-training led by peers).
  • Talent Retention: partner closely with HR on talent evaluations, succession planning, and prioritizing for internal/external training opportunities.
  • Talent Evaluation & Growth: work closely with GroupM US Programmatic Practice Lead, Mediacom Digital Investment Lead, and GroupM Services Lead on talent evaluations, mobility opportunities, and succession planning.  Define programmatic specific evaluations in addition to agency evaluations.


YOUR BACKGROUND:
You'll bring a minimum of 10+ years of progressively senior/technical experience in programmatic on the media owner, agency (preferred) or ad tech side

    • Hands-on experience with ad technologies including data management platforms, DSP’s, SSP’s, ad-verification, and 3rd party data providers is required
    • Working knowledge of viewability/brand safety solutions (MOAT, IAS, DoubleVerify, Open Slate, Channel Factory, etc.), audience measurement (e.g. Nielsen DAR)
    • Practical experience with ad-serving solutions, tag management and operations a plus
    • Familiarity with MMM, DMM or attribution modeling is advantageous
    • Experience with HTML and Tableau is a plus, but not required
  • You possess exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities are notoriously meticulous
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization and especially communicate up to CEO level, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork
