Role Summary & Impact

In this role, you will employ advanced statistical techniques in the media world such as Marketing Mix Modeling [regression analysis], attribution, budget optimization, and digital analytics. You will lead end-to-end project delivery and be responsible for leveraging software and technologies (e.g. R, Python, Machine Learning, etc.). You will also manage junior Analysts, and communicate with internal stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data processing, data cleansing, and handling of raw data to produce large structured data sets for analysis, data modeling, data governance, etc.
  • Conduct econometric and other statistical analyses Run ad-hoc “what if scenarios” and simulations based on models and evaluate media plans. 
  • Support reporting, data visualization and presentation building with oversight from team leader. 
  • Work with internal teams across Buying, Planning and Digital Investment to produce client deliverables. 
  • Support R&D initiatives by designing algorithms, developing features, QA or providing training and support to power users Bring critical thinking into finding issues, solving problems and improving processes. 
  • Convert business problems into mathematical expressions and equations Take full accountability of timely project delivery, producing analyses and content that is clean, organized, easy to read and understand.
  • Manage junior analysts by providing guidance and employing their time efficiently 
  • Perform storytelling from data and analyses; communicate insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. OR equivalent professional work experience.
  • Understanding of multivariate regressions. 
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel (Pivot Tables, Complex Functions, etc.).
  • Experience with R, Python, C++, SPP or SAS.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
