Role Summary & Impact

As an Associate Director you will partner closely with our Media Planning and Digital Investment teams to develop cross-media measurement, learning, and forecasting strategies. In this role, you will use your knowledge of Media Analytics, Data Visualization, and Relationship Management to develop recommendations and present actionable insights to our client. The ideal candidate will be passionate about growing talent and continuously expanding their own skillset and nurturing that of their team!

Key Responsibilities 
  • ​Initiates and leads the team in developing long-term Measurement Roadmaps, bespoke to the client. 
  • Supervises creation and execution of campaign-specific measurement framework. 
  • Leverages strong knowledge of syndicated and proprietary research tools and systems to design and manage research projects; Generates and delivers strong insights based on results. 
  • Leads advanced analytics requests involving log file data or other large datasets. 
  • Manages and grows internal and external client relationships to help guide Analytics engagements, ensuring ideas and final deliverables ladder back to client strategies. 
  • Partners with Media Planning and Digital Investment teams to evaluate vendors, technologies and new advertising opportunities; analyzes the measurement capabilities within each. 
  • Retains and nurtures talent by providing regular feedback and coaching to team members; realizes when the team needs improvements and acts accordingly  
  • Write POVs on industry topics. 
  • Train staff on syndicated and proprietary research tools and systems, manage day to day questions. 
  • Mastery of syndicated research tools and systems (e.g. Nielsen, Comscore, MRI, Simmons, EZtab, etc.). 
Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field; OR equivalent professional work experience. 
  • Ample relevant working experience plus a track record of leading a team of Analysts and Managers. 
  • Familiarity with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM). 
  • Ability to manage internal and external client relationships; ensuring deliverables are produced on time and within budget. 
  • Experience with a variety of the following tools and platforms preferred: 
    • Data Visualization - Tableau 
    • Web Analytics - Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics 
    • AdServers - DoubleClick, Sizmek 
    • Syndicated Measurement: comScore, Nielsen 
    • Ad Effectiveness Research: comScore, Millward Brown Digital 
  • Familiarity with SQL, R, Python a PLUS

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
