Associate, Finance Operations
Description
Overview
The Operations Associate supports the media and account teams with financial and
operational processes.
Your Impact
• Become familiar with planning tool & process, client billing process, and training
documentation
• Assist with monthly client budget reporting and billing for assigned clients
• Liaise between the investment teams and billing department to ensure financials are in
order and clients are billed accurately
• Manage client status meetings
• Ensure that client accounts are in good financial standing and invoices are processed for
payment with in payment terms
• Manage invoice discrepancy resolution
• Provide assistance on media billing questions from Finance
• Assisting with electronic authorization system alongside team
• Assist teams with troubleshooting billing issues and errors
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to work successfully within a team as well as independently
• Establish and maintain effective relationships interdependently as well as with those
outside the team
Your Qualifications
• Effective time management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize
• Detailed-oriented
• Able to produce high quality work within a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and proficiency with MS Word
• Knowledge of Mediaocean (DDS Systems), Print Pac and Ad Buyer tools
• Excellent math, verbal, and written skills
Qualifications and other relevant information:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience: preferred concentration in accounting
or finance
• 1 to 2 years’ prior experience in the accounts payable/billing department of an
advertising or media agency preferred
