The Director, Talent Management will be a senior HR business partner that helps us achieve this by partnering across teams and leaders to create a fulfilled and engaging experience for our employees fueled by continuous growth and meaningful development.
 
How will you make an impact?
•    Leading a team of HR Business Partners, and in coordination with the People team and people managers, you will orchestrate talent and career development at scale.
•    You will forge strong relationships with stakeholders, become a trusted partner, advising them on talent needs within their teams, their role in elevating talent, and role-modelling leadership behaviors focused on developing and growing people.
•    Through HR business partners, you will drive and oversee quarterly career development conversations with employees, and continuous engagement with people managers, thus enabling them to better support and coach their team-members. 
•    You will enhance the employee experience by linking their career ambitions with meaningful growth and development opportunities – you will do so by regularly meeting and partnering with Recruitment, Resource Management and Learning & Effectiveness teams.   
•    You will ensure that all employees, starting with identified Hi-Pos have individual development plans (IDPs), and that these plans have visibility and input from their people managers. Under your leadership, the HR business partners and people managers will collaborate on executing these IDPs.
•    You will work with the broader People team to identify and assess employees’ interests and development areas, offering opportunities to align client scopes to employee growth and mobility desires. 
•    You will advocate for employees, ensuring all levels of the organization prioritize employee growth and experience – including these in their goals, annual plans, and accountability.
•    You will contribute to increased employee satisfaction and retention by facilitating exciting career moves across GroupM, driving diversity through our talent and growth plans.
•    In partnership with L&D leadership, you will champion management development as an integral part of IDPs.
•    You will institute and embed succession planning anchored in up-to-date talent maps, continuous talent reviews, stay-interviews etc. 
•    Finally, you will demonstrate impact through talent data and insights around internal mobility, engagement, growth, and mobility.
 
What do you bring?
•    Tones of passion for people experience, with a strong focus on development and growth
•    6-8 years of experience leading on talent engagement and career development in a matrix environment
•    Prior experience managing other HR practitioners
•    The ability to develop and present talent insights through data
•    A natural collaborator and relationship builder

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $100,000 to $230,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
