Adwords Specialist


The Adwords Specialist is a key expert on Google marketing & ads embedded within the core global Brand USA planning & buying team. He/she will be an active participant in digital strategy and media planning development, as well as the key owner of all non-Search Google Brand USA international campaigns from start to finish.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Actively participating in digital strategy and media planning meetings
  • Handle and own Google display marketing campaign creation, management, reporting, and testing
  • Participate in the entire campaign cycle from start to finish, determining budgets, strategy for Google-based ad inventory
  • Full ownership of creation of Google campaigns (such as Youtube, GDN) through user interface for all international markets
  • Management of media operation process for Google ads in-line with GroupM standards
  • Upload necessary creative and/or map YouTube links to advertising placements
  • Bid management of all Google campaigns
  • Optimization of Google display and video campaigns
  • Analyze campaign performance data regularly to optimize performance goals and spends
  • Execute new tests, and report on daily and weekly results and learnings
  • Coordinate technical needs with other stakeholders such as MediaCom ad-ops, creative agencies, Brand USA site team
  • Contribute into creation of Google Joint Business plan and monitor deliverables.
  • Work closely with business science and analytics team to integrate Google display media results into global dashboard
  • Staying informed with all applicable industry best practices, new trends, technologies and platform updates

  • 1-2+ years of experience working hands-on with Google Adwords
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Pixel and conversion tracking a must
  • Some experience with paid social channels such as Facebook and LinkedIn, native, display is required
  • Excellent Google Docs skills and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn about new marketing channels and strategies, and work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Google AdWords or similar certification mandatory
  • Google Analytics Certification preferred
