OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an Insight Manager to help build our insight capability and work across GroupM and its agencies, using our own proprietary LIVE Panel data. The role is diverse with a wide range of internal global and local stakeholders.

 

ABOUT THE TEAM:

LIVE Panel is a global, cross-agency resource that has been designed by GroupM agencies (Mediacom, Mindshare, Wavemaker, and Essence) to auto-feed agency planning tools through a globally consistent Hub Survey, providing a truly global network solution for our biggest clients.

The Hub Survey is an annual survey and the 2020 wave will be its 5th iteration. It consists of a core set of media, touch point, and demographic questions to provide insights for day-to-day media planning. 

The Hub Survey enables end-to-end media planning by helping to

  • Understand category behaviors
  • Defines bespoke client audiences
  • Optimize channel selection for bespoke audiences
  • Activate client bespoke audiences in digital

LIVE Panel provides 300+ pre-defined audiences in Global Data & Technology available for digital targeting, custom audience activation, and digital insights.

YOUR IMPACT:

Your primary responsibilities as Insight Manager will be:

  • Liaising with key stakeholders to understand, refine, prioritize, and actionable insights and research requirements
  • Lead and manage all elements the annual LIVE Panel survey through the full project lifecycle
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior stakeholders
  • Lead a project team to ensure the management of the annual data collection timelines and deliver a high-quality project, right first time, on-time, to ensure accurate delivery against project financials and budgets
  • Stay up to date with all project handling/progress issues, resolving problems, and implementing solutions quickly. Communicate issues and key findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Presenting analysis and recommendations to both senior global and local stakeholders, and driving action to achieve results
  • Helping to define and evolve our insight and analytics offering to our business stakeholders Delivers output COTW, Keynote
  • Proactively coaching, pairing with, and mentoring team members and deliver training local stakeholders
  • Taking a critical hands-on role in product discovery, research, and experimentation
  • Acting as our front-line data representative – collaborating with our analyst and agency teams to support product delivery and surrounding analytics

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability in working and managing the full quant research cycle and in developing and landing actionable insights
  • Strong knowledge of market research methodologies and demonstrable experience of sharing and delivering complex multi-country projects, including the understanding of process improvement and lean techniques
  • Research design – you know the strengths and weaknesses of different research methodologies and techniques. You are an expert in the weighting design of the survey data and can advise the best solutions.
  • A creative thinker with the ability to be hands-on with data and interpret large dataset, to tell the story behind the numbers and translate this into actionable insights
  • Experience across a number of analytical tools or languages (e.g. Choices, Telmar, Clear Decisions) to deliver analysis and reporting.
  • Experience of data visualization tool/techniques (e.g. Tableau) and an understanding of how to clearly communicate the results of data analysis to different stakeholders
  • Self-motivated - self-starting, able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members, locally and globally. Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects are necessary, as well as the ability to rapidly acquire new domain familiarity.
  • Strong team spirit – thrives on working as part of an enthusiastic and energetic team, inspiring others and keen to learn new skills from other disciplines to drive thinking further
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage people at all levels in the business
  • Intrepid outlook – have sought to broaden their horizons via work, social or personal exploits, showing true grit and a desire to push themselves outside of their comfort zone.
  • Languages would be an additional asset, although not compulsory

  • Able to communicate ideas well, both verbally and written.
