THE ROLE: 

As part of the Insights & Analytics team, you are part mathematician, part author, and part mentor who is expected to provide media research and performance insights in support of the media/search teams. Three major facets of this role include: 

  • Finding and sorting information quickly and efficiently 
  • Presenting information in a manner that is both easy for a lay-person to understand and statistically sound 
  • Helping others use data effectively by guiding them to ask the right questions 

YOUR IMPACT: 

  • Partner closely with planning teams to measure the effectiveness of media campaign performance; maintain a performance media platform that fuels ongoing recommendations around media optimization 
  • Define requirements and business rules that will apply to underlying data architecture 
  • Manage the extraction of data from multiple marketing/database platforms and perform hygiene and quality control steps 
  • Compile reporting deliverables and ad-hoc requests; assure all are completed accurately and in a timely manner.  Generate insightful visualizations and performance dashboards to depict data 
  • Identify initial performance insights and opportunities for further analysis or optimization 
  • Assist senior analytics staff with various projects including testing, advanced analysis, and research 
  • Retrieve raw data from 3rd party media tools and synthesize it into usable forms for media team usage 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 2-3 years’ experience in similar/applicable position; degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Marketing Research-orientated is a plus 
  • Strong analytical orientation and fluent in working with large/multiple datasets 
  • Excellent communication skills: writing, verbal, and presentations 
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills (sorting data, pivot tables, advanced functions) and PowerPoint 
  • Basic statistical aptitude 
  • Digital Media experience/background; solid understanding of technical aspects such as media tagging, etc.  
  • Knowledge of media tools and platforms including DoubleClick, web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe), and media research tools (MRI, ComScore, Stradegy, Numerator) preferred 
  • Additional desirable skills include experience with data manipulation and visualization platforms (Domo, Datorama, PowerBI or Tableau)
