ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this position, the Associate Director will help to develop and implement on-going process improvements related to financial reporting.  The ideal candidate will facilitate communication with and combined reporting for the client.  This will include being a main client POC across both Wavemaker and the Client when it comes to financial reporting and deliverables. This role also serves as system expert for the group and helping manage all our financial contracting with the clientsstaffing plans and reconciliations (labor and billing).

 

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Develop and implement on-going process improvements
  • Manage monthly budget process and multiple reports created for various client constituents
  • Manage all financial reporting, staffing plans, and fee reconciliation
  • Staff plans: Ensure right structure and right talent in roles
  • Help manage SOX (rules and regulations) compliancy for overall team
  • Participate in and lead any audits that take place
  • Provide system support and access control
  • Manage & evolve annual client SOW(s)
  • Interaction with senior team management as well as client management
  • Financial reporting for RF process both internal and external.
  • Tracking of Planned/month of service vs. purchased vs. cleared billing issued/month of invoice (normalize data where needed)
  • Ensuring that all client delivery data is efficiently produced and maintained, while enforcing accuracy in all client reporting
  • Lead monthly billing and budget reporting with planning team
  • Participate in any audits that take place
  • Provide system support and access control for Media Tools and Mediaocean

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree with 5+ years media experience in planning/ buying/finance/research
  • Understanding of billing/invoicing protocols, some financial background beneficial
  • Excel expertise a MUST (SQL,pivot tables, lookups, formula creation)
  • Proven track record managing projects
  • Strong client-facing experience
  • Experience leading and collaborating across teams

 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Excellent organizational skills with time line sensitivities
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Firm grasp of Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Comfort level managing complex processes and details
