Role Summary & Impact
Our Commerce Investment teams are critical in bringing our media plans to life. They work in conjunction with our planning teams and are responsible for the negotiating, purchasing, and implementation of digital media across major sites and publishers. This also may include content integrations, premium video, mobile and OTT. As the Senior Associate, Commerce Investment, you will implement digital media negotiations and buying/activation for one or more assigned accounts. You will also provide strategic market insights, trends and pricing benchmarks, oversight, and management of spending across major partners or vendors while monitoring client budgets and adherence to KPIs.

This also may include content integrations, premium video, mobile and OTT. As the Senior Associate, Commerce Investment, you will implement digital media negotiations and buying/activation for one or more assigned accounts. You will also provide strategic market insights, trends and pricing benchmarks, oversight, and management of spending across major partners or vendors while monitoring client budgets and adherence to KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Planning team to gain insights on objectives, KPIs, strategies, audiences, etc. to ensure tactical buys deliver against goals.
- Participate in vendor selection and RFP process (all digital channels, where applicable) and maintain positive vendor relationships and communications.
- Help centrally manage negotiations/rate tracking/planning costs/benchmarking/ budget management of the assigned account(s).
- Demonstrate better pricing, efficiencies, and impact by consolidating buys across sites.
- Benchmark buys in Negotiation Investment Template.
- Develop Site Scoring Model (ranking for buy development).
- Work with Buy Enablement team to ensure all buys are entered into Prisma (naming conventions, budgets, placements, compliance, updates, etc.), cam.
- Proactively follow up on client team requests with a key awareness of client deadlines.
- Manage monthly billing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications; OR equivalent professional work experience.
- 1+ year of prior digital planning and/or investment experience desired (preferably in ecommerce).
- Thorough understanding of the media landscape and fast-moving digital trends.
- Demonstrated ability working successfully within a collaborative team environment as well as individually.
- Strong quantitative and analytical/results-oriented skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, work. successfully with teams, and work under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
- Understanding of interactive research and/or buying tools.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $100,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
