Objectives of the Role

The Associate, Digital Investment will work closely with the Digital Investment team in supporting the digital processes, benchmarking and negotiations across MediaCom’s Clients. S/he will be responsible for updating and gathering various investment documents/spreadsheets as well as aggregating or pivoting the data for various forecasts, requests, and savings documents for accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn the digital planning and investment processes
  • Work with the Digital Investment team to learn about the negotiation and planning process
  • Work with the Buyer with Data aggregation/ analysis (comScore, historical performance, delivery)
  • Help explore partners
  • Work with Digital Investment team in providing thoughts on vendor RFP selection 
  • Set up Investment Negotiation Templates
  • Assist the team in benchmarking and negotiating the buys
  • Develop Creative specs
  • Aggregate RFPs (Request For Proposal)
  • Provide support in building the tactical plans
  • Ensure buy is live (screenshots, reporting, etc.)
  • Help Buy Enablement with Buy Management/ Pacing
  • Help create savings summaries
  • Meet with vendors on an ongoing basis
  • Learn about the various media and technology companies, innovations, ad models, objectives/kpis, etc.
  • Build strong media and technology vendor relationships
  • Create POVs and/or summaries from media partner meetings

People Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with digital investment, digital planning, Xaxis, technology, etc. partners
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
  • Capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships interdepartmentally as well as those outside the team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Strong communication, project management, time management and follow through skills required
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media teams
  • Capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently 
  • Advanced Excel skills, intermediate PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills
