Job Description:  

Our programmatic team is responsible for creating and executing audience based media plans using the newest media technology platforms in the industry. You will assist senior team members in preparation of budgets, reports, and media proposals to deliver immediate results to our clients on campaigns.  

GroupM has two main goals: Strategy & Partnership/Operational Goals  

Programmatic Strategy’s Goal

  • We strive to translate our client campaign goals into actionable strategy. The  programmatic team works with the partnerships team to use existing deals or secure new ones while assisting the analytics team to measure and optimize against client goals  

Partnerships & Operations’ Goal  

  • We work to secure strategic publisher and technology partnerships supporting and allowing our strategy team to service our clients and hit their goals and ensure that standard methodologies practices are followed.  


  • In this entry level position, you will assist your team members with various tasks including budget management, media technology, the billing process, trafficking, tracking, and reporting  
  • Working with the Sr. Associate and Manager, you will assist in building the campaign strategy and execution by using audience behavior segments.
  • Your role will help you develop technical knowledgebase in audience-based digital buying and relevant systems.  
  • You will act as a liaison between trading desk and other key teams on account.  
  • You'll be responsible for overall media plan maintenance and delivery and  
  • accountable for individual campaign success. This will require you to translate  
  • briefs into console objectives, reporting, and ongoing optimization.  
  • You will be accountable for negotiating deals and supply packages for the programmatic buying unit.  
  • Working alongside key publishers/sellers, will be responsible for identifying business development opportunities.  
  • You will be Collaborating with the strategy team on feasibility and benefit of  
  • potential PMP deals. This would include overall supply trends that may affect  
  • performance and scale.  

What you have accomplished:  

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications  
  • You are a Microsoft Office guru.  
  • Although not required, it'd be a huge plus if you have experience with HTML.  
  • Although no media planning experience is required an internship with an advertising/media agency is strongly preferred.  
  • You are a rockstar when it comes to your written and verbal skills.  
  • You have exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail-oriented.  
  • Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
