Associate Director

 

 

Overview

 

In this role, you will be responsible for successful day-to-day client and account management, internal financial reporting as well as team development and oversight.  You will also be in charge of implementing Out-of-Home media recommendations. This position entails a heavy emphasis on account and client services, with opportunities to incorporate unique creative executions, programmatic and digital audience-based OOH solutions, along with traditional installations.

 

 

Your Impact
 

  • Manages agency’s relationship with client contacts and assigned sister-agency teams, ensuring positive, collaborative relationships for the business
  • Oversees account team’s day-to-day business, assuring that the team is consistently adhering to buying and planning process, policies and procedures for assigned accounts
  • Mentors junior and mid-level team members, inspiring them to reach their potential and building curious and confident colleagues
  • Develops and delivers all or part of client presentations and reviews all client documents to ensure accuracy
  • Thoroughly comprehends clients' business and important facets of clients' industries and sectors
  • Ensures all Media Authorization forms are signed and filed, media plans are implemented, and all deadlines are met
  • Conducts in-depth negotiations and manage/participate as necessary in rate negotiation process for direct reports
  • Develops and reviews case studies and campaign profile questionnaires
  • Identifies and tracks client issues and resolve/escalate as needed
  • Engages collaboratively with Kinetic Digital team and Kinetic Investment team to ensure all opportunities are delivering on annual set targets with partners
  • Grows and helps to manage business development activities
  • Contributes to Kinected, our internal content-sharing and learning management platform
  • Reviews monthly and quarterly billings (compare to client budgets as needed), changes in client estimates, and forecasts
  • Ensures vendor discrepancies are resolved, escalate as needed
  • Ensures team is fully compliant with SOX, WPP and company policies and procedures

 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration or communication, or equivalent work experience
  • 7 to 9 years’ experience with an advertising organization
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, maturity, credibility, confidence and integrity 
  • A strong sense of curiosity & tenacity to explore new ideas and market firsts
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with strong focus on teamwork
  • Must be highly reliable and able to work on multiple tasks at once
