We are looking for candidates who are passionate about supporting people and building an inclusive culture, within the framework of our Wavemaker business objectives and values.  This position requires someone who is agile, flexible, and able to pivot and re-prioritize based on evolving needs.  We aim for flawless execution across all our programs, so excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessaryThe ability to work collaboratively with a diverse mix of people throughout the company is essential.  This position reports to the Director, People & Culture and will work very closely with the Senior Associate, People & Culture.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Partner with the GroupM People Operations Practice Area in order to:
    • Process all employee change notifications that go to payroll i.e. terminations, salary increases, promotions, title changes, SPR's (Special Payroll Requests), and manage the bi-monthly payroll cutoff deadline.
    • Manage offboarding process including exit email/information, involuntary termination paperwork, etc.
      • Create and send customized Wavemaker exit email to employee with vacation calculations, signed agreements, exit interview details, and list of to-dos before their last day.
      • Answer questions from leavers to ensure a smooth offboarding experience.
    • Maintain integrity of supervisor, approver, and client data in ADP by taking the lead on weekly data audits; run ad hoc reports from ADP and excel while accurately manipulating data for presentation purposes.
  • Effectively communicate HR practices and policies in a consistent and accurate manner to all levels of employees.
  • Liaison with the IT team to resolve issues and recommend changes to processes to increase continual improvements in efficiency of the operations team and services performed.
  • Partner with the GroupM People Reporting Practice Area in order to:
    • Retrieve data from them in a timely manner for the purpose of completing regularly scheduled and ad hoc reporting for Senior Leadership.
  • Maintain all client org charts. Reach out to client leads quarterly to ensure we always have the most updated charts on file as a reference for reporting lines.
  • Partner with the Finance team on updating Payroll Backup folders and pulling together reports as needed for audit purposes.



 Your Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 0 - 1 year experience preferred
  • Strong client service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work successfully within a team as well as independently
  • Establish and maintain relationships interdepartmentally as well as with those outside the team
  • Positive and high energy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using ADP a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
