OVERVIEW:

The Group Account Director is responsible for leading, developing and understanding all aspects of client business and for developing key senior-level client relationships associated with a major national and/or global account or several key national/global accounts.

 

You will establish thought leadership partnerships with key stakeholders and make MediaCom the central hub of all communications activities. You should be excited about exploring and interacting with partner agencies in interacting with the marketplace with the goal of identifying opportunities for clients. 

 

You should be able to effectively leverage your experience, knowledge and skills to inspire innovative thinking and set challenging team goals and objectives, balancing client, company, and team priorities.

 

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Build and own the relationships with your client
  • Build a deep understanding of your client’s business
  • Codify consistent approaches to tackle persistent business problems
  • Build and deliver an online/offline media and communication solution that delivers against your clients KPIs Brand and E-Commerce
  • Connect with the right stakeholders both internally and externally to provide a fully connected communication solution
  • Advanced knowledge in processes required to maintain the highest degree of data accuracy across multiple markets
  • Build and foster a client brand team spirit across all markets/partners, sharing knowledge, client vision and KPIs
  • Collaborate across all local markets ensuring quality product and service delivery
  • Increase organic revenue growth by identify services that can unlock client business growth

  • Be future focused and align our services with the client’s long-term strategic direction
  • Become a trusted adviser to your client and be regularly relied upon for your expertise and viewpoints
  • Grow the value of the relationship between MediaCom and your client
  • Build deep expertise in the category challenges and related industries both personally and across the team you will lead
  • Proactively consult with your client about different team/agency offerings/capabilities and how they can benefit from them
  • Understand and assimilate large volumes of insight and data, making links across the outputs to identify the focus of our offering e.g. strategy, digital, analytics
  • Look broadly for inspiration across other categories and the wider industry to inspire your client’s thinking
  • Effectively negotiate commercials across all markets
  • Maintain and grow profitability on the account
  • Navigate agency/partner relationships with poise and maturity focusing on what is best for client growth and success

 

YOUR MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS:

          Achieve consistent high client evaluation scores

          Receive positive feedback from your internal stakeholders including local markets

          successfully and regularly sell in new services which expand the scope of work and grow business revenue

          Produce award winning work from across your account/team

          Deliver strong compliant financial results

          Maintain fundamental yet consistent client servicing standards across all markets

          Introduce continued testing and innovation that drives desired client goals and outcomes

 

YOU WILL NEED TO:

          Be fluent with online/offline marketing principles, data-led planning, digital media, technology & advanced analytics

          Have a strong pedigree in performance marketing / data-driven marketing

          Have broad cross-channel media knowledge

          Have the gravitas and credibility to influence senior clients

          Be a visionary but pragmatic thinker

          Be able to communicate ideas with people who are more strategic-orientated, as well as those more data-orientated

          Have proven and demonstrable skills in growing account profitability and relationships

          Be energetic, determined and proactive with strong communication/presentation skills
