Role Summary & Impact

As an Associate Director, Ad Ops, you will manage a team of ad operations professionals. You should be an experienced leader who can handle a quick pace at a high volume while managing and mentoring a strong Ad Ops team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of ad traffickers, including the management of workload balance across various brands.
  • Responsible for on-time, accurate campaigns across the entire client portfolio.
  • Ensure the proper set-up and execution of all ad campaigns using Sizmek, Google and other specialty ad servers as needed.
  • Work with Ad Ops Director and account leads to establish and maintain QA processes.
  • Provide guidance to the trafficking team for the testing of creative executions (including management of complex rich-media executions) for functionality and tracking across various browsers and devices.
  • Act as a hands-on, tactical expert in the execution of all forms of digital advertising in a digital operations capacity including guidance for optimal campaign set-up and conversion tag creation.
  • Foster day-to-day relationships with technology partners; meet with new technology companies as needed and provide feedback to the agency teams.
  • Ensure appropriate integration between ad-server platforms and GroupM’s campaign planning tool, Prisma (MediaOcean).
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising; OR equivalent professional work experience.
  • 5+ Years working within Ad Operations, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of agency-side digital advertising process and workflow.
  • Advanced knowledge of Sizmek and Google platforms as well as leading specialty ad-serving solutions.
  • Expertise in rich-media ad formats (expandable, floating, video streaming, DCO etc.) and rich-media providers and technologies such as Google, Sizmek, Flashtalking, Jivox, etc.
  • Experience working with third-party technology vendors for research studies, ad verification, privacy compliance, etc. including Nielsen, ComScore, Millward Brown, Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, MOAT, etc.
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and basic JavaScript.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • Strong understanding of the campaign measurement metrics associated with online advertising, including conversion tracking metrics.
  • Experience managing a team, fostering career growth and ensuring continuous education.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
