Midas Exchange is currently looking to hire a Media Supervisor for the Digital Investment team. This role drives development of client digital business and develops and cultivates key partnerships to grow Midas Exchange. You will work with the Director of Digital Investment to develop digital channel strategies, negotiate with publishers and traffic final media plans that meet the client’s campaign strategies and corporate trade objectives. Midas Exchange is the corporate trade arm for WPP and buys all media on a non-disclosed basis.


  • Act as day-to-day liaison between agency and publishers, meeting with sales representatives and management to maintain relationships, stay on top of offerings and develop compelling/innovative ideas for clients
  • Research target audience digital media habits
  • Help define goals and ensure all campaigns are on strategy and meet client objectives (media & creative)
  • Develop digital media buys
  • Negotiate non-disclosed competitive rates with digital publishers
  • Ensure negotiations are of the highest quality and financials are in-line with goals
  • Optimize buys, adjust orders as needed and ensure client trade benefit is delivered
  • Maintain media budgets, actualized spend charts for publisher and clients
  • Report and analyze competitive activity
  • Provide analysis on media delivery, performance and trends
  • Supervise, train and develop media buyers and media analysts
  • Assist in performance reviews for digital investment team
  • Manage daily workload and associated timelines of buyer and analyst
  • Cross check plans and all supporting documents (spec/TI sheets, IOs, billing docs)
  • Double check and Issue IOs, ensuring adherence to T’s & C’s, negotiating changes when necessary
  • Partake in group brainstorming sessions with the intentions of bringing great ideas to life
  • Develop Case Studies for internal and new business use
  • Seek new trends and opportunities within the industry; develop POVs to share with clients and media team
  • Participate in new business research 



  • 4-6 years digital buying experience, some planning experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently but also be a team player
  • Strong oral and written communication skills/ presentation skills
  • Expert digital media negotiation skills
  • Familiar with corporate trade or non-disclosed media
  • Solid research and analytical skills
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Problem solver/ Organized and able to multi-task
  • On top of industry trends, familiarity with emerging technology: ex- Video, mobile
  • Advanced computer knowledge (Donovan (DDS)/MediaOcean/Prisma, strong in Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in DCM, Innovid, and additional ad servers
  • Working knowledge of Comscore or similar planning tools
