JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a HR Generalist with the HRBP team at GroupM Nexus, you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of human resources management spanning the employee lifecycle, especially in onboarding, culture, learning, recognition, and communications processes.
(You must be based in Colombia, Bogotá ideally)
DIRECT REPORT:
This role reports to the HRBP Latam Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Onboarding:
- Manage and continuously improve the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Ensure compliance with onboarding requirements for new hires, ensuring that they complete the mandatory entry courses.
- Conduct regular check-ins with new hires to gather feedback and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with trial period evaluations, follow up with the leaders, and guarantee compliance with Colombian regulations.
Re-Onboarding:
- Lead and execute re-onboarding initiatives for the entire company when required.
- Develop, deliver and update engaging re-onboarding content.
- Measure the effectiveness of re-onboarding programs and adjust as needed.
Culture & Engagement:
- Lead and execute the company's culture program, driving initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment. Tailored to the specific needs and interests of the employee population.
- Understand the interests and preferences of the employee population through surveys, focus groups, and other methods.
- Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement events in Mexico and Colombia.
- Responsible for the monthly recognition program.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve employee engagement.
HR Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits regulations.
- Assist with various HR administrative tasks as needed.
- Participate in HR projects related to talent management, culture, onboarding, and other HR initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English (B2+/C1).
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on onboarding, culture, employee engagement.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deal with ambiguity in a highly complex matrix structure.
- Initiative and adaptability to change.
- Passion for creating a positive and engaging employee experience.
- Highly solution-driven, creative, adaptable, and possess a strong growth mindset.
