We are seeking a highly capable and motivated individual to join our team as a Account Services Strategist. Responsible for creating and executing programmatic media proposals offering WPP Media Solutions through industry-leading media technology platforms. Within this role, you will begin to take ownership of your clients programmatic media strategy and oversee its activation and day-to-day execution. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with agencies and clients and being ambassadors of WPP Media Solutions.

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated individual to join our team as a Account Services Strategist. Responsible for creating and executing programmatic media proposals offering WPP Media Solutions through industry-leading media technology platforms. Within this role, you will begin to take ownership of your clients programmatic media strategy and oversee its activation and day-to-day execution. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with agencies and clients and being ambassadors of WPP Media Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with planning and their clients to understand necessities and opportunities.
- As a senior day-to-day relationship manager, coordinates with senior client leads at the agency to understand macro client concerns, identify business issues, and help sell in opportunities.
- Oversees the management of overall campaign delivery, including performance vs. KPIs, weekly/monthly/campaign pacing, optimizations, and profitability.
- Monitor campaign health, issuing projection analyses and reallocation recommendations when necessary.
- Assist with campaign analytics, derive insights from data, and contribute strategic recommendations to improve campaign performance and pacing.
- Use programmatic knowledge and AI, DSP capabilities to provide smart, operationally sound programmatic recommendations.
- Collaborate with Programmatic Coordinators, Analysts, and Operations teams to ensure fiscal accountability, monitor and proactively optimize towards performance goals, provide audience insights, and ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Work closely with the agency management team to turn insights into recommendations that align with or enhance client strategy.
- Continually contribute to the knowledge-sharing culture of the trading team
- Keep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, workshops, and current events.
- Provide data-backed, actionable insights for campaign optimization notes.
- Communicate thoroughly, respond rapidly, and escalate urgent matters to senior support.
- Occasionally lead trading training and provide mentorship for new hires.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with key programmatic and digital platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel User. (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. as well)
- Familiarity with advanced optimization strategies to deliver against standard programmatic KPIs for client satisfaction and budget growth.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills, organizational skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong presentation skills and comfort in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
- Ability to maintain high productivity while managing multiple timelines, competing priorities, and agency relationships.
- Proactive; can troubleshoot technical issues through to resolution.
- An innate curiosity for advertising technology
- Knowledge of the US market is a plus.
