Purpose of Position
Marketplace is the engine room of EssenceMediacom Marketplace. It’s where the rubber hits the road.
Marketplace helps bring to life Connected Execution plans, develop exciting partnerships built on your relationships with the media, and deliver value for our clients.

In Marketplace, you are the empowered negotiator, the confident trader and the system optimizer, underpinned by a futureproofed way of working.
As a Marketplace Coordinator you are responsible for ensuring that you a using data, technology and tools to deliver best in class media systems.

On any given day, you might
People
  • Have a meeting with your team to get across key priorities for the day and week ahead, using workflow tools to keep you on track
  • Work with our SBU teams to understand and implement best in class solutions and initiatives for your clients
  • Take part in a brainstorm with a media owner
  • Hear about an exciting opportunity with an external partner to work on shaping a unique response to a brief
  • Work closely with your team supporting them on any requests
  • Help organise in-house client events
  • Support the wider team on all pieces of administration, including reception cover when required
 
Product
  • Play a support role in the planning and buying process
  • Work to deliver best in class media plans with guidance from your manager
  • Work with your manager to review publisher brief responses
  • Refine responses and build your negotiation skills to get to the optimum solution
  • Attend training and apply your knowledge of all Connected Execution/Implementation tools
  • Start to develop your understanding and application of buying principles and processes
  • Take responsibility for managing campaign monitoring and implementation processes
 
Client
  • Access your reporting dashboard to review best in class insights to clients
  • Demonstrate your developed learning of delivering against briefed objectives
  • Ensure all relevant Media KPI data is pulling into your client dashboard to enable your team to deliver the best insights
  • Join your manager in meetings with media owners, tech vendors, auditors amongst others to keep abreast of the latest opportunities for your clients
 
Commercial
  • Take ownership of any invoice queries ensure they are resolved or managed delivering an ongoing best in class approach to finance management
  • Reconcile a completed campaign to ensure all value has been delivered and client KPIs met.
  • Have a high level understanding of the different products and offerings across the EssenceMediacom business
