We are currently looking for a Senior Executive – Media Planning to join us.
The Senior Executive - Media Planning will develop a deep understanding of all media channels and how each is planned, evaluated and optimized. He/She will be supporting the planning team to carry out industry research, prepare reports and develop decks that illustrate key insights.
You will be responsible for managing timelines and liaising with your colleagues on deliverables to ensure that campaigns rare executed effectively.
You will also develop detailed knowledge of all the local media owners in Sri Lanka to provide qualified media guidance to our clients. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing innovative, creative and effective communication campaigns, which are grounded in strategy and insights to drive our client’s business ambitions.

Measures of success: –
In three months, you would:
- Be up to speed with cutting edge proprietary planning tools as well as able to extract and analyze important data; validating our recommendations.
- You would have a pulse of the business category & knowledge of competitive frame.
- Worked on moderate scaled live campaigns.
- Have initiated contact with key media partners and understood the baseline of their offerings particularly digital.
- Connected with internal specialist & external stakeholders’ units to integrate solutions.
In six months, you would:
- Been able to comprehend and apply our proprietary planning framework model in key campaigns.
- You would have landed live; larger scaled campaigns.
- You will have started to build relationships with the key decision makers within the current client portfolio.
- Master a flawless media execution process, working alongside various stakeholders.
In 12 months, you would:
- Develop a strong category acumen - from a media and business point of view.
- Identify a pipeline of commercially viable solutions to support our client’s goals.
- Create and execute a pipeline of exciting business building ideas which could potentially be industry award winning.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Respond to / follow up on client’s campaign briefs and requests received, and working alongside the team Manager.
- Orchestrate/support the inputs from the strategy, implementation and specialist teams to develop innovative, business building solutions for clients.
- Manage the planning, execution and postmortem of the campaigns briefed in.
- Engage with specialist partners to drive commercially viable media solutions.
- Build trust, meaningful relationships with clients, as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders.
What you will need:
- Minimum 1 year in media/digital/marketing experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply too.
- Curious and willing to learn with passion to leverage opportunities from challenger to leading brands.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent personal/organizational management.
- Good interpersonal & social relations.
- Experience in handling marketing campaigns on mainstream media.
- Strong understanding of the cultural and consumer trends that are changing the media landscape.
- Digital media experience is an added advantage
