THE ROLE OBJECTIVE

REPORTING OF THE ROLE
This role reports to the Performance Manager, based in Tokyo.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR GOLS WILL BE
IN THREE MONTHS:
  • Execute /Creation of Search and Social digital campaigns with supervisions from the Manager.
  • Be able to provide optimization suggestions and work with the Performance Manager to improve campaign performance
  • Completed relevant platform training and accreditation.
 
IN SIX MONTHS:
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Confident in presenting to clients for your recurring updates
  • Training of executives and oversight of their deliverables.
IN 12 MONTHS:
  • Be comfortable assisting the Performance Manager in developing proposals and preparing search / social strategies in line with the overall campaign
  • Be confident in taking part in pitches whilst working together with the rest of the agency
  • Support senior team members on larger client accounts and seek continuous feedback on the quality of work delivered, aligning with our Ways of Working and best practices.
WHAT YOUR DAY JOB LOOKS LIKE AT GROUPM:
  • Campaign set-up on Search and Social Platforms according to approved media plans.
  • Regularly monitor and optimize to ensure optimal campaign performance.
  • Creation of post-campaign reports that include useful learnings and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Lead media vendor engagement and work with various technology partners to improve campaign performance.
  • Deliver against internal and client targets.
  • Proactively find ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of campaign processes and optimizations.
  • Assist in developing best practices for search and social media campaigns.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
  • Handle the day-to-day management of search and social delivery for small to mid-sized clients, including recommendations, budgeting, optimization, and reporting.
  • Gain a deep understanding of client business objectives and their industry landscape to contribute to their achievement.
  • A high attention to detail and organization skills.
  • An open, collaborative, and proactive attitude to foster relationships both within the GroupM and Agency team and external tech and media partners alike.
  • The ability to take accountability for the quality of yours and the team’s work.
  • A genuine interest in learning and understanding more about the digital media; the technologies, the challenges and pitfalls; to advise clients and agencies alike.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE TO APPLY:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in majors as Media & Advertising, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent experience 
  • 1+ year or more of practical experience running paid search and social campaigns.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • An in-depth understanding of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaign management and optimization practices.
  • Highly curious & motivated, with strong desire to learn and grow
