Job Title: Media Buyer (Offline Media)
Department: Nexus Non-Biddable Team (Media Buying Team), GroupM Korea
 
The Media Buying Team at GroupM Korea focuses on strategic purchasing and partnership building across offline media channels. The Media Buyer will play a key role in managing various offline media platforms and developing innovative solutions for Advanced TV channels, including IPTV, CTV, and FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) 
including developing solutions for pDOOH (Programmatic Digital Out-of-Home).
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies for offline media channels (TV, print, out-of-home, etc.)
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media partners
  • Create and implement solutions for pDOOH projects
  • Analyze market trends and optimize media buying strategies
  • Support planning and purchasing to meet client campaign needs
  • Monitor campaign performance and generate reports
Qualifications 
  • 3–10 years of relevant experience (media buying or media sales included)
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the offline media market
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (Korean  native & English business level)
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
  • Experience or knowledge of pDOOH
  • Competence in data analysis and reporting tools
