ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director, client leadership has ownership for a portfolio of key Xaxis clients and is responsible for delivering outstanding client leadership to retain and grow Xaxis’ existing clientele, ensuring they are viewed as trusted partners, instilling and delivering an expectation of excellence to our agencies and clients.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Client Leadership
a. The go to person for their client relationships ensuring the highest standards of servicing are delivered.
b. Has an extremely detailed understanding of their clients, their needs, the challenges they face and can align these to Xaxis solutions.
c. Ensure client recommendations made have a strong focus on Xaxis’ data, AI and advanced analytics to scale the use of those capabilities across our clients.
d. Owns the design and delivery of strategic client engagement initiatives for their accounts.
e. Delivers QBRs and regular business reviews for their client patch, sharing key findings internally and with agencies.
f. Is accountable for designing and maintaining client roadmaps and maturity frameworks to ensure Xaxis are seen to be consistently innovating.
g. Takes a proactive approach to client engagement, ensuring they engage not only on day to day account related themes, but also on wider and longer term industry topics, offering thoughts, sharing updates and providing advice as appropriate.
h. Strive for the highest level of client satisfaction in everything they do with responsibility for vantage feedback survey scores and comments from their client base.
i. Work seamlessly with business excellence and strategic growth directors for onboarding of new client wins that are assigned to them.

2) Growth & Success of Existing Clients
a. Develop and deliver a cohesive growth strategy for their clients to drive exponential growth, partnering with key agency stakeholders.
b. Owns business tracking for client patch and is responsible for strategically developing existing client base.
c. Accountable for achieving the agreed forecast for client base, own tracking and monitoring of financials against this and update at regular intervals to maintain forecasts.
d. Effectively contribute towards and deliver on the Xaxis UK growth strategy across their client base.
e. Spot opportunities for growth through analysis of client investment and aligning Xaxis solutions to such opportunities.
f. Showcase new Xaxis products or capabilities to their client base to aid growth.
g. Accountable for the results and outputs that Xaxis delivers for their client base, acting as a filter to ensure that everything that goes to agencies and clients is of the highest standard.
h. Build, empower and evolve team capabilities to develop strategic and forensic client specific growth plans to grow their existing accounts.
i. Build and maintain a strong relationship with the activation and planning teams at the agencies, as well as any other key agency stakeholders to unlock potential across our existing clientele.
j. Partner with the Business Director (or equivalent) in agency to maintain and build an accurate pipeline and forecasts for their clients.

3) Effective ways of working
a. Be the voice of your client internally feeding into the developments and roadmap of Product &
Innovation, Planning and Marketing Science.
b. Follow established working practices that aid a collaborative dynamic with Activation, Strategy and
Planning, Marketing Science and the wider team to provide best in class campaign proposals, reporting
and insights.
c. Equip team to be an effective bridge between the agency and the delivery of our activation team by
forming effective working practices and tools with Activation and Marketing Science.
d. Work with Marketing Science to prioritise initiatives and investment needs. Shape and embed
standards, processes and culture around data lead insight and decision making.
e. Brief planning team to work on strategic client initiatives, sharing additional client context to ensure
response is deliverable and aligned to client roadmap.
f. Regularly spot opportunities for case studies and award entries from client base and work with
Marketing & Comms and Strategic Growth to design and build these.

4) People & Culture

a. Lead by example on the Xaxis core values, inspiring and coaching others to do the same.
b. Effectively manage resource needs and work allocation of direct reports.
c. Ensure the support systems and best practices across DEI, Recruitment, Onboarding, Career Growth &
Development that are in place are adopted.
d. Equip and empower direct reports to confidently talk about programmatic and the use of data and AI
in a rapidly changing environment.
e. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
f. Instill a collaborative and effective ‘one team’ ethos within your team, the wider Xaxis, GroupM UK and
Xaxis Global and EMEA business to deliver client growth.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience leading strategically important client relationships , delivering best in class client servicing.
- Proven experience in embracing the core Xaxis values.
- A solid understanding of programmatic and the use of data and AI to drive campaign performance to bring together the best solutions and proposals to clients.
- Ability to instill a client centric approach in all manners of client servicing operations whilst appreciating the activation and operational best practices.
- Strong commercial awareness and acumen.
- Excellent communicator and comfortable with handling stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and beyond and enable teams to do the same.
- Excellence at building relationships through trust and integrity with clients and partners.
