Objectives of the Role:
This role is responsible for delivering SEO technical audits, competitor analysis, keyword research, guiding content strategies (in the context of SEO) and developing link building strategies across our client base.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability:

1.Strategic Skills
•To work with Account Directors to provide consultancy to clients on all aspects of SEO
•Ensure that projects are delivered to agreed deadlines and client business requirements
•Contribute to pitch materials and attending new business meetings where relevant
•Work with internal product development committees to develop best-in-breed digital offering
•An understanding of the broader digital media landscape and how the various digital elements integrate with SEO efforts

2.Client Account Management
•Provide clear actions and insights to clients
•Excellent, persuasive verbal and written communication skills – ability to explain the technical to the non-technical items and spearhead SEO discussions in client status meetings
•Ability to prepare and present compelling on-site SEO audits, best practice guidelines, review documentation, client SEO strategy documents and monthly client reporting
•Ability to liaise with both internal teams and client resources to deliver effective SEO campaign
•Have the ability to think creatively around problems, interpret client requirements and translate them into action plans
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PPC, social media, influencer, and web development to ensure a cohesive digital marketing strategy

3.Operating Requirements
•Solid knowledge and understanding of SEO, including current developments
•Ability to code in HTML, CSS and PHP is or at least a good knowledge of these languages
•Ability to work independently and as part of team
•Excellent client service skills are desirable
•Fluent written and spoken English
•Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
•Proficient in 3rd party data tools such as SEMrush, Lumar or AHREFS
•Proficient in Google tools: GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager. Keeping GA4 certification up to date is essential
•Self-learning and development is essential

New Business
•Identify areas of possible business growth within existing client base and new clients
•Responsible for identifying areas of business growth and establishing search solutions that are aligned to requirements and budgets accordingly.
•Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers in order to secure new business
•When required, participate in pitches and help with new business wins outside of the client
