The Role

We’re looking for a smart, numbers-driven, and friendly individual to join our ever-growing team. This is a junior level position to join an award-winning affiliate team as an Affiliate Account Executive.

 

You will get to work across multiple brand names under the guidance of some of the smartest people working in digital, with a great foundation of media knowledge that will serve you for the rest of your career.

 

You don’t need to have deep understanding of media or advertising at this point. We’re looking for someone who has the potential to be our performance media star of the future; a good attitude, a real interest in advertising and digital, and experience studying or working in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging environment are the core requirements. A degree is preferable, but not a prerequisite for this role.

  • Analytically minded, with the ability to identify trends within data sets 
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills 
  • Able to communicate effectively, and work as part of a team 
  • A can-do attitude, a desire to grow and ambition to achieve are KEY 
  • Committed to deliver high levels of service within appropriate time frames 
  • Seeks ownership and readily accepts accountability 
  • Strong ability to prioritise their time 
     

Essential Criteria

  • Experience using basic features of PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel (e.g. Creating and formatting presentations, sorting and filtering data, creating graphs and tables) 
  • You have a genuine interest in digital media with a penchant towards performance partnerships 
  • You can think about the numbers and are interested in data. You’ll be able to give some examples of where you’ve used large datasets. 
  • You can explain your ideas effectively. You’re a good talker who can get people on-board with your ideas or make a strong reasoned argument where you disagree.
  • Have a pre-understanding of affiliate marketing or have worked previously within the industry
     

Desirable Criteria

  • Any native level languages as this is always useful in the team
  • Degree in Media

Responsibilities

  • Learn to identify partner opportunities and submit to your client/channel teams to review  
  • Understand what your client’s key performance indicators (KPI) are and how best to achieve these 
  • Become confident and proficient in the systems and tools you use to eventually make grounded performance recommendations  
  • Identify the optimisation levers available to improve performance to meet your client’s KPIs 
  • Understand the approach to preparing a media plan in response to a client’s brief and working with the Account Manager to do so 
  • Deliver client reporting and analyse campaign results with a view to developing actionable insights 
  • Assisting the Account Manager with day to day internal duties and assisting with client requests
