Role Summary and Impact

The OpenMind Account Manager presents an opportunity for an experienced media expert to work on one of the top 5 biggest brands in the UK today, within the London-based UK team. This is an important client leadership role, responsible for developing strong relationships with the UK Nestle Category team, handling large budgets across the likes of AV, Social, Influencer, Outdoor, Partnerships and Programmatic channels. As well as being given the scope to provide exciting comms planning strategies, you will also have the knowledge/skills to push innovative thinking and working with strategists and data specialists to supercharge Nestle's media plans. You will be an excellent communicator, will enjoy working with others and will be the line manager to both a Planner and an Exec.

  • Onboard fully onto the OpenMind platforms & integrate with all key stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with teams and clients
  • Work closely with the AD/SAD to develop a campaign brief
  • Gain trust of all internal & external stakeholders
  • Lead elements some responses to brief
  • Positively contribute to the quality of planning output
  • Support the development of exceptional, award-winning planning work
  • Be a go-to source of energy and insight in the team
  • Support implementation of "fewer, bigger, better" strategy through Category holistic media strategy and measurement (including Retail Digital Media & Search)
  • Co Ordinate responses across channels, thinking in systems not silos
  • Co Ordinate campaign best practice with more junior members of the team
  • Challenge the ordinary and help our team produce great work
  • Work closely with the SAD to review ways of working processes
  • Help manage the quality of the work that is taken to the client and ensuring all reporting and finance processes and timings are adhered to.
  • Become the trusted point person of your client peer level.
  • Managed and developed your team, ensuring they are performing at their full potential and looking out for their wellbeing
  • Agree objectives with your SAD/BD to ensure constant progression.
  • Contribute to OpenMind culture in the team – great planners with clear goals, objectives, and development plans.
  • Work with GDS (Biddable Digital Team) to ensure they are integrated seamlessly within planning processes and implementation processes.
  • Work with retail team to help integrate capabilities into everyday planning.
