GroupM is the parent company that manages WPP's media investments. GroupM's media agencies include Mindshare, EssenceMediaCom, Wavemaker, Mediterránea, and The&Partnership, each with global operations and leading market positions.

We seek to incorporate a Business Commercial role from our Finance department in Madrid. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Forecast

• Prepare and report the different Budget/Forecast of clients and pillars.
• Review the client conditions and identify any new source of revenue stream (increases / decreases commissions, fees, Models, Incentives)
• Review month-end deviation by client and explain differences and identify action plan.

Commercials and other business

• Meet different requests from Global, Local, Clients, Pitches, and NBz
• Support New business processes local and international. Prepare commercials related to Agency remuneration and coordinate legal requirements.
• Prepare data for use in commercial proposals and similarly for inclusion in SOWs.
• Drive reporting process improvement within the regional finance team and local teams.
• Global client reports along the year.
• Billings, Net Sales, Revenue and costs reports
• Provide any ad-hoc reporting requested by the Group.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit periodic reports.
• Client Profitability Analysis
• OKRs follow up.

Audit

• Financial audits support (Client Audits, External audits, SOX).
• Work alongside the auditors.
• Oversee Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
• Carry out any control that might affect or have an impact on the company based on a financial point of view.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

      University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.

      At least 5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally in international or corporate environments.

      Strong knowledge of accounting and finance, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.

      Familiarity with international and local accounting regulations.

      Mastery of financial management tools and advanced accounting software.

      Analytical skills and attention to detail to review and control financial deviations.

      Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively in international environments.

      An advanced level of English (written and spoken) is necessary due to the company's international environment.
