Role purpose:

A role exists within Mindshare Outcomes within a growing SEO specialist team. We are looking for a SEO Account Manager who will play an instrumental role in further developing our offering by taking ownership of the ongoing client engagement, working collaborative with a team of SEO ADs, AMs and AEs and supporting the Business Director to implement the strategic vision of the account and team. In this role, you will also work closely with other sister agencies in the network, creative agencies, data teams, PR etc.

The Mindshare Outcomes SEO team are responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies as well as multi market coordination for complex global clients within the retail, FMCG, finance and technology, industries.

We do this by continually seeking and finding the perfect connection between their products and potential customers through Programmatic, Search and Social platforms. 

The Role:

The candidate will report to the SEO Account Director.  Working within the Mindshare Outcomes SEO team, they will be integral to achieving client goals by developing and optimising SEO and content strategies. They will also be responsible for managing AEs to help deliver work.

 

Key skills & knowledge:

          Strong SEO skillset 

          Confident with technical SEO work streams and platforms, including Screaming Frog, Deepcrawl, SimilarWeb, Ahrefs, SEMRush, SEOMonitor.

          Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.

          Experience building and managing relationships with clients.

          Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail

          Confident presenting to stakeholders on a regular basis

          Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

          Keen eye for keeping up to date with SEO industry news on relevant insights for clients

 

Principal responsibilities:

With the support of an Account Director, the SEO Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of three accounts: Legal & General, Unilever and Tyl (NatWest start-up). Responsibilities include:

 

          Client Servicing – Visible as a key point of contact for clients and ensure they are happy with work delivered.

          Account Management – Effectively managing your own time, and time allocated to the AE to complete deliverables in the scope of work to share with the client on time and to a high standard.

          Technical SEO – Guide inhouse technical teams through optimisation of website structure and elements with the ability to prioritise based on business impact, support them through migrations as needed, UX testing and analysis.

          Content Strategy - Develop the functional content strategy using a number of sources including keyword analysis, competitor research and qualitative data.

          Analysis – Lead analytical work streams, discovering deep and meaningful insights to help inform content and technical strategies in this highly competitive market.

          Measurement – Ensure performance is benchmarked and measured and push the boundaries of reporting standards.

          Team Support – As a line manager, support the evolution of an Account Executive and the wider team.

          Collaboration – Working closely with the other SEO sub-teams as well as Mindshare analytics, media, and planning teams to deliver consistent and considered work.
