The Strategy Manager role within Wavemaker Worldwide is an exciting opportunity which enables both personal and career growth working with multi-markets clients and experts within the business. In this role you’ll be developing communication strategies to drive growth for our clients and combining analytical & creative thinking to solve problems. You’ll have the opportunity to work with different teams from different disciplines and exercise strong storytelling skills to positively provoke our clients.

Core responsibilities:

  1. Contributing to our relationships with global clients:
  • Positively provoke and add value to our relationships with central clients by developing communication strategies based on an extensive understanding of the consumer purchase journey
  • Work closely with the client leadership team and other agencies to deliver integrated communication strategies
  • Showcase a deep understanding of the consumer purchase journey, turning data into insight to come up with creative ideas that deliver business growth


  1. Working on New Business pitches
  • Support the team to help tackle multi market new business pitches
  • Ability to flex across all the requirements of a new business pitch (insight, strategy, and ideas)


  1. Idea generation for global clients
  • Support the team on new briefs with creative ideas based on strong insight
  • Articulate the creative idea in a clear way, delivering slides ready to present
  • Use data to strengthen the case for the creative idea


  1. Platforms and Audiences
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of the latest emerging platforms and the strategic communication opportunities they bring
  • Be fluent with data sources that can be used to inspire and develop audience led strategies


  1. The Ad Hoc stuff
  • Help foster an ‘award winning’ culture by showcasing great award winning work and helping the agency focus on creating and submitting excellent work for awards
  • Be constantly curious. Read lots, share lots. Challenge perspectives. Contribute to debate.
