Position at Wavemaker

Role Context:

Working collaboratively with the account director and account manager as well as several other internal stakeholders, the candidate will support in the delivery of planning, buying and optimizations across digital media channels including paid social, search and programmatic. 

The successful candidate will be working across two key international clients at Wavemaker and top international brands. The first client is a market leading tech and software company, and the second is a global auditor and have several lines of services, from legal, insurance, taxes, etc.

The account offers a strong opportunity to innovate and build expertise across a wide range of digital channels, with the clients open to testing and learning from new platforms, audiences and tactics.

About you:

  • Ideally you will have experience in digital media - an agency side background preferred, but all will be considered
  • Hands on paid social and paid search is an advantage.
  • All academic backgrounds will be considered
  • Professional digital media/advertising qualifications will be of an advantage
  • Any digital media experience e.g freelance, personal projects etc. will also be of interest
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • A pro-active attitude to learn new things and be positive about taking on new challenges

 

About the role:

  • Assisting the Account Manager on responses to briefs using a wide range of tools and platforms
  • Campaign set-up and implementation, adhering to Wavemaker’s processes and best practices
  • Daily monitoring, budget checks and optimization of performance across channels
  • Support on the day to day QA process across all media activation, minimizing errors and ensuring consistent and accurate adherence to process
  • Support on delivery of client reporting of media performance, ensuring timely, insightful, performance focused analysis and actionable insights
  • Direct client servicing exposure with regular contact via weekly status and reporting calls
  • Working in partnership with the ad-ops team to deploy the campaign setup requirements across all channels
  • Identifying client challenges and providing prompt feedback to the line Manager to develop new approaches to continually improve campaign performance
  • Ensure all budgets are booked and reconciled through the relevant financial process in line with agreed deadlines
  • Contribute to materials required for regular internal and client meetings
