What is the role?

The AdOps Manager is responsible for oversight of campaign set up within ad server and governance of taxonomy standards to ensure consistency of how data is managed across the account. There will be an added focus on how we can integrate AdTech with MarTech by leveraging existing technologies to create a holistic view across both advertising and marketing for our clients, emphasis on Google, Adobe, Salesforce and Group M platforms.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • You would be responsible for managing a number of campaigns from start to finish using Google Tag Manager (and other tag management applications). Testing creatives, tagging sites, offering technical recommendations to internal teams.
  • Taking a lead on projects, product roll outs and overall AdOps strategy.
  • Manage the trafficking of display campaigns within ad servers whilst working to strict campaign deadlines and delivery expectations
  • Provide governance for taxonomy standards ensuring they meet all requirements and are future proof to support reporting and trafficking
  • Deployment of tags through client’s tag management systems to ensure data capture is up to date
  • Required to manage the implementation of any other 3rd party tracking tools for campaign optimisation and reporting
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting technology issues. This includes a wide range of issues around trafficking, site tagging, analytic data anomalies and providing both solutions and short-term workarounds to prevent bottlenecks
  • Manage the day to day responsibilities of a team of AdOps Executives and ensure efficient and accurate delivery of work
  • Responsible for the learning and development of AdOps Executives
  • Ensure tagging architecture is maintained for all EMEA clients
  • Run quarterly technology audits

 

Who are you?

  • Someone who has Analytical degree or relevant work experience is preferred, or an individual who can show evidence of how they solved problems during degree / previous work
  • You will have an in-depth knowledge of ad serving and analytics platforms
  • The role is driven by processes, so you will be someone with an organised/methodical mindset.
  • Has a passion for technology and has an understanding of the major players within the Ad Tech space.
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within a technology/ad operations team
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Have experience of Facebook Business Manager, but not essential – To allow for the building of custom audiences and pixel management
  • Have a strong sense of service internally and to clients
  • Be able to champion and promote a culture of continuous learning & development within the team
  • You will have good communication skills as you will have day to day contact with internal teams and maybe required to attend client meetings
