We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, strategic, and digitally experienced individual to lead a regional business unit team at EssenceMediacom for the Maison, Cartier.

Reporting of the role   
This role reports to the EM Business Director and with communication and accountability to the EM Global Hub in Paris.   
Key Role & Responsibilities:   
This role requires you to be a true guardian of the Maison and hold a strong and positive partner relationship with Maison’ leadership.  You should be an effective communicator. Working alongside specialists in the team, you will need to be comfortable in navigating across disciplines to provide an integrated point-of-view and recommendation to the Maison based on your understanding of their business requirements and structure.   
As situations require, you would be unafraid to dive in to resolve the issues by identifying the best solution for the Maisons and the agency. You will be ultimately responsible and accountable for the quality of product, service, and delivery for the Maison.

Key Responsibilities:   
Client leadership   
  • Client-centricity: Always thinking and evaluating situations from the perspective of the Maison.
  • Engage with senior-level Maison Media leaders to deliver media solutions that effectively, efficiently build business and brand value. Build relationships based on trust and real partnerships.
  • Lead and drive best in class thought leadership in key areas in media, industry issues and in the intersection with luxury making this accessible and relevant to Maison media contacts.
  • Draw up on the resources of EssenceMediacom and WPP accessing expertise as required and appropriate.
  • Key contact across the entire planning cycle for senior brand clients and media directors / managers
  • To work collaboratively and effectively with digital and technology functions in the group to bring together a comprehensive media solution for the maison
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive client growth whilst collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure that strategies are aligned with the agency's overall vision, and operating model.
Internal development   
  • Ensuring training and upskilling of level of know-how in the areas of planning and operations, with the support of respective internal stakeholders
  • Ensure strong and close relationship and knowledge of all EM capabilities and vision.
  • Responsible for the team motivation, development, and growth.
Skills & Experience   
  • Robust experience in account leadership. Preferably with luxury industry experience.
  • Strong leadership and operational ability.
  • Digital and data solutions knowledge and ability to initiate and drive thought leadership pieces.
  • Proven Strategic planning experience & skills. Prior experience working on a global account and presenting strategies to senior stakeholders.
  • An effective communicator who can articulate thoughts in a clear and concise manner to C-level stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A genuine passion in Client Leadership – nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders of global luxury brands and constantly deliver towards their best interest.
  • Strong people management skills, able to adapt your working style according to the different personas in your team and be an effective mentor.
  • The individual should possess a data & analytics mindset: deep understanding of digital ecosystem, tracking, tech stack, and measurement. 
  • Robust understanding of marketing tools like CRM/CDP & analytics tools like GA, Ad safety tools, analytics dashboards etc.
KPI Metrics    
  • Bi-annual client satisfaction survey
  • Team management (staff retention and development)
  • 360 performance evaluation (internal)
  • Development and diversification of services for group of Maison
  • Ability to create true integration across disciplines and between upper and lower funnel activities/teams.
Measures of success:   
  • Build strong positive trusted relationships with key stakeholders at the Maison
  • Establish an initial work plan for the coming 3/6/12 months to deliver excellence and growth.
  • Establish yourself as the central focal point of the Maison client team adding value to the operational team.
  • Show leadership in business understanding to develop a strategical media/communication vision.
  • Show leadership and sufficient understanding in areas such as e-com, performance marketing, data strategy and technology working very closely both with the cross functional stakeholders
