The Role

The candidate will report to the Senior Account Director. The Account Manager will lead the Exchange team, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the Nike Digital team at Mindshare to create + manage Nike campaigns across EMEA.

The Client

The Mindshare Nike team in Amsterdam is responsible for Nike’s media output across EMEA markets.

The Nike EMEA team at Mindshare is collaborative like no other. We are an extension of Nike’s own Integrated Media team, in daily communication with a range of clients and often working from the Nike European campus at Hilversum.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be expected work collaboratively within the Display / partnership team, with the wider Exchange team and planning team:

 Extensive Display and Content partnership experience, ideally to have experience of managing global clients but this is not compulsory

• Understanding of how to execute Display & video campaigns across DV360

• Experience defining and putting into action Content partnership campaign as part of the client’s overall strategy especially for large Brand campaigns.

• Experience using direct and programmatic buys for campaign management, reporting and insight

• Experience working with Content partnership media and display media owners to determine the value they can bring to an agency and a client

• Knowledgeable on the business opportunities through key platforms & partners

 Strong project management and coordination skills

 Strong interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy is essential

The Account Manager, Digital will be measured through four key factors:

• Foster a spirit of collaboration and integration with the planning team, WW FAST team’s and

key social partners

• Delivery of the client’s display, videos and content partnership strategy ensure alignment with overall client Global EMEA strategy

 Team development and innovation

• Team retention

• Contribution to and ownership of wider Digital team and FAST initiatives

An Expert and thought leader in Digital:

• Be an expert in Digital and keep up to date with recent industry developments

• Become an expert in all digital services offered by Mindshare Worldwide, ensuring

outstanding client service and advancement of the group 

Key Responsibilities

-          Media Plan Management

  • Briefing relevant partners and combine response to briefs within deadlines and required formats
  • Prepare media plan with relevant metrics, benchmark, and correct ads specs



-          Campaign Activation

  • Trafficking and optimisation
    • Manage and overview trafficking process, ensure the campaign is all tagged up following our team best practices, find efficiency in campaign set up process to reduce go live date
    • Optimise the campaign to deliver the best results and overachieve on overall benchmark
  • Finance
    • Ensure that all incoming activities are logged and tracked accurately into our finance system and reconcile spends within deadlines


-          Reporting + Campaign Wrap Ups

  • Collate reporting figures from a variety of internal and external sources, support the Planning Directors in creating visual reporting outputs for Nike Media


-          Local Market + Global Co-ordination

  • Liaise with local Mindshare teams in UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain across all elements of campaign creation and management
  • Work alongside Planning Directors to keep Mindshare Portland team up to date with EMEA media activity
