Position at Choreograph

Choreograph is a new global data company, to help clients realize the value of their first-party data, consult on and implement their data and technology strategies, and advise on privacy-first approaches to navigate the fast-changing data landscape. Choreograph brings together the specialist data units of GroupM and Wunderman Thompson into a single company with global reach, accessible to all WPP clients and companies.

Choreograph’s core belief is that marketers own their first-party data with consumer permission; respect for privacy and the intentional use of data is at the heart of its approach. Guided by this philosophy, Choreograph will continue to create market-leading tools to support clients in the appropriate and responsible application of data in advertising.


Choreograph is seeking a talented SVP, Product Operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the product and executive teams of Choreograph have access to the latest data and information across the portfolio of products. This data and information include vision and strategy, product roadmaps, resource plans (actual and forecast), status of critical product programs, and the overall business scorecards (adoption, usage, cost, customer satisfaction) to measure product success.

You and your team will ensure that standards are upheld across the product teams, including compliance with legal, data privacy, and internal standards. You will own the Choreograph product development framework, partnering with engineering, data science, and GTM teams to ensure awareness and continuous improvement.

You will play an active role in liaising with the leadership teams of other parts of Choreograph, GroupM and WPP to continuing to develop interfaces and partnerships, ensuring that the product team are effective in delivering against the company strategy. You and your team are the intersection between the product team, engineering, and customer solutions, ensuring that all teams are aligned against the product strategy and roadmaps, providing a clear escalation path to the Choreograph leadership team.

Reporting directly to the Global Product Leader of Choreograph, you will act as a trusted advisor, leaning in to help with programs and initiatives that require senior leadership across the product team. You will also provide support for the overall effective running of the Product Leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading in cross-functional, complex, global high-tech product organisations.


  • Lead the Product Operations team across the three product suites
  • Define and be accountable for the Product Operations across the Choreograph product team, including processes, methodologies, people, tools, and measurement
  • Create and lead the right forums and approaches to measure value and outcomes, creating transparency on the progress of our strategy and roadmaps. Provide support to the product leaders in establishing effective product boards
  • Lead the best practices across products tools, ensuring that teams are properly onboarded and trained, and tools are adopted and used consistently across product suites
  • Ensure that teams are effectively using OKRs to measure progress against the product strategy. Provide support and guidance to other product leaders whilst reporting progress and issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other Product and Strategy Leaders at the most senior level to ensure alignment to enable overall business strategy. Designing and running an effective quarterly and annual product planning process
  • Ensure the organizational capabilities and resources are in place to deliver against the product strategy
  • Partner with product leaders to shape and execute a 12-18-month product roadmap which focuses on realizing maximum value to the business as soon as possible, working in a lean and iterative way
  • Lead a program of capability improvements, measuring Choreograph product capabilities against standard framework and identifying areas of improvement. Lead this overall program and partner with product leaders to embed best-practices in their teams
  • Partner with product leadership and product managers to create templates for product requirements, training, guidelines, feedback collection, etc. so the product team can operate efficiently


Experience in product operations, with focus on providing centralized executive level support across complex portfolios
Experience of developing processes and forums that result in transparent and effective decision making and governance
Data-driven with strong business acumen across trends and technologies
Experience working with demanding global stakeholders
Experience of evaluating market opportunities using models and frameworks to objectively assess the value and risk of ideas and concepts
Demonstrable experience of being able to operate and lead in fast-paced and dynamic environments
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills; with an ability to think creatively and present in a manner that inspires and excites
Well-developed organizational and project management skills, to ensure you can keep on top of your own and others’ workload
