Planning Executive- Journey Planner

The Journey Planner is a role within an integrated client team. They sit within our Journey Planning function, who are responsible for ensuring that we plan industry leading solutions using media, tech and content to solve client problems across the purchase journey. Journey Planners will ensure that the voice of the consumer is heard, understood and reflected in the media strategies and plans created for clients. Journey Planners will be expert users of all WAVEMAKER tools which will allow them to create data-driven solutions to client briefs and quantifiable recommendations on their investment decisions. As you begin on your path within the Planning team, you will support across the full spectrum of WM clients’ and New Business leads, as and where planning and insight is required working closely with Kate, Isobel, Lisa, Mikey, Helen and Lauren to ensure the expectations are met.


As you progress, you will then be able to take the learnings and data to create insight and actions across media, content and technology for specific client projects you are working on.


We are looking for a bright and eager individual who is passionate, creative, collaborative, and ready to take on their first working challenge. You will have a degree and be passionate about getting your career moving in this fast paced and rewarding industry.



You will develop your knowledge and skillset on all tools that feed into Rapid Growth Planning (WM’s planning approach). These will include a broad set of internal WM tools and also external tools such as TGI, YouGov and Mintel, to help build a deep understanding of the consumer, the client business and its specific Purchase Journey opportunities.

As you progress, you will then be able to take the learnings and data to create insight and actions across media, content and technology for specific client projects you are working on.
