Job Overview

We are looking for a Media Planner to join our fast paced, forward thinking planning team on one of the most exciting parts of the biggest advertiser in the UK.

As part of the Sky Broadband Planning team, you will support, and be responsible for, the day to day management of all our campaigns, and play an active role in several key projects.  You will help the team to deliver on brilliant basics and best in class media ideas that put innovation and strategic thinking at the very heart.  This role will give you exposure to clients, creative agencies and media owners alike, as well as several departments under the MediaCom umbrella.

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and solutions-based person who is looking to thrive on a really exciting piece of business.

You will report into the Sky BB Planning Manager

What are the measures of success?

  • You may already be a Planner looking for a new challenge or an Exec looking to step up to the next level.  You will already have working knowledge of core planning tools such as TGI, AdDynamix, YouGov etc.

What would you expect to achieve in the first 3 months?

  • In the first three months we will expect you to have a strong handle on the day to day, be on top of live campaigns and deliverables and be proactive at picking up client requests.
  • You will have established strong relationships with key members of the client marketing team, as well as internal implementational planning teams.
  • You should be comfortable running weekly client status sessions


What will you need?

  • A real passion for media
  • A can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail
  • Be a real team player and be willing to get stuck into all elements of the business
  • A strong working knowledge of core planning tools (TGI, AdDynamix, YoGov etc)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with excellent written & verbal English language skills/grammar
