The Role

Foundational data internship based on consumer survey data for LIVEPanel

LIVE Panel is a global, cross-agency resource that has been designed by GroupM agencies (Mediacom, Mindshare, Wavemaker and Essence) to auto-feed agency planning tools through a globally consistent Hub Survey, providing a true global network solution for our biggest clients. The Hub Survey consists of a core set of media, touchpoint and demographic questions to provide insights for end-to-end media planning and defining audiences for digital targeting, custom audience activation and digital insights.


What You’ll Be Doing

Months 1 - 3:

  • You will support local stakeholders with simple data queries
  • Learn the basics of statistical analysis
  • Learn how to use SPSS
  • Learn how to transform data using SPSS
  • Learn data testing and quality control
  • Learn the basics of consumer survey data analysis for storytelling
  • Learn the basics of data visualisation


Months 3-6:

  • Research the latest methodologies and libraries for data ascription and fusion
  • Work with a team of data scientists to learn data science development frameworks
  • Learn how to use Python for:
    • Data pre-processing and pipeline development
    • Feature engineering
    • Exploratory data analysis
    • Data visualisation
    • ML modelling
  • Jupyter notebooks
  • Gitlab
