Regional Account Manager

 

Position: Regional Account Manager within a planning team, working on a regional client team of Wavemaker Serbia (office located in Belgrade).

Main role of this position will be operational management of the account and leading campaign strategy development across all markets.

 

Reporting of the role

This role reports to Regional Account Director.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Be the day-to-day primary point of contact for the brands you work on
  • Build a strong relationship with client, to become a trusted strategic partner
  • To lead the campaign strategy development for all major launches across all markets
  • To lead campaign planning process
  • To ensure deadlines for delivery and budgetary control
  • Lead internal and client status meetings, working closely with assigned clients and agency partners
  • Lead the development, sell-in and deliver the planning work on agreed projects
  • Briefing media channel planning specialists on specific campaigns in areas of paid social, programmatic, search, google display and video and local direct buying of display and video inventory
  • Briefing local market Account Managers for annual plans, campaign plans and local inputs
  • Build regional media guidelines for local markets to use as they craft media plans
  • Manage the client finance / media delivery / reporting process along with other members of the team

  • Very familiar with digital media landscape; has digital buying or planning experience
  • Experience and ability to understand various digital channels and platforms - such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Business Manager
  • Strong experience of leading and developing others
  • Ability to work in English – across multiple parties in EMEA region (clients, central teams, support, etc.)
  • Knows how to make a pivot table in excel
  • Enjoys building PowerPoints, and knows how to work within a PowerPoint template
  • An ability to prioritise and delegate, as well as manage both up and down
  • Empathetic and self-aware mindset

  • Accurate verbal and written feedback and instructions
