The Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic media specialist to join the m/SIX Nordics team as Account Director for m/SIX Finland.  The m/SIX team works side by side with The&Partnership creative team for and we need an Account Director with the vision to drive the client relationship and work output forward.

As the Account Director, you would be the most senior day to day person working on the Finnish account on the media side with an Account Executive reporting into you and leading a team of specialists from GroupM.  You will report into the Nordic Lead for m/SIX who is also responsible for the Creative teams across the Nordic region.  As well as your direct report(s), you will also work closely with the Media Strategy Director, Audience Planning leads and other Directors in the Nordic region.

What experience & skills does the role require?

Experience of the automotive category is desirable, but not essential.

The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to manage senior client relationships, delivering strong work through clear & knowledgeable media thinking.  It is crucial that the work we produce is well-presented and directional, with a strong link from robust audience insights through to media recommendation.

Some specific role responsibilities:

  • Managing the day to day output of the media team
  • Ensuring all planning work is of the highest quality, innovative and driven by in-depth understanding of the audience and how communications work
  • Key network liaison – assisting the market with the latest central thinking and insight as well as surfacing and scaling the best work from other markets
  • Anticipating client needs, going beyond answering requests and delivering the best client service possible
  • The go-to person on the m/SIX Finland team, being the gateway to the specialists for our clients
  • Working closely with The&Partnership creative team, specifically the Business Director ensuring all work is seamlessly joined together
  • Working closely with the ROMI team to ensure all dashboards are accurate and being used to generate insights
  • Monitoring key competitor activity and producing an insightful view of their activity.
  • Monitoring interesting developments in both the media world and the client categories.
  • Forecasting revenues for m/SIX Finland
  • Pitching new business
How will success of the role be measured?

Client satisfaction surveys and feedback as well as relationships developed with key internal stakeholders (both in Finland and across the Nordic network) are key goals.  The quality of work produced by the Finnish team as well as the ability to drive grow the scope of work are also essential to success in this role.
