SCOPE OF THE ROLE

This role is a Maternity Cover for 12 months.

OBJECTIVES

  • To manage the finance team and ensure that all regular and ad-hoc deliverables are met.
  • To meet all reporting, audit, and invoicing deadlines in a timely manner
  • To check that all aspects of responsibilities are in line with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall responsibility for the full review and submission of monthly management accounts and submissions in line with policy and SOX.
  • Organise and attend regular communication and meetings with the business for month end and forecasting purposes.
  • Review the support and back-up for all invoices and approve in line with the approval matrix.
  • Review and approve spend and payments in line with the approval matrix for business commitments and house payables costs.
  • Monitor invoicing with the team and broadcaster finance teams in line with contracts.
  • Review cashflow for all broadcasters in line with contracts and payments.
  • Lead contact for the auditors and compliance teams. Manage and support the collation of documentation for audit requests, regularly review new requests and answer queries.
  • Regularly review the controls framework documentation and ensure all is up to date with changes in process and/or controls requirements. Produce and review monthly, quarterly, and annual controls documentation.
  • Lead contact for the preparation of the company financial statements and tax computations with the Shared Service function and external auditors.
  • Manage the team’s tasks and deliverables with relevant support, review, and prioritisation.
  • Support the team with ad hoc requests and tasks.
