The Opportunity

  • An Account Executive in the Outcomes Display Programmatic team is responsible for supporting the team in the day-to-day execution of campaign planning, set up and reporting.
  • In Outcomes we encourage creative thinking, so this means identifying new opportunities and constantly working with clients and media owners to bring new and innovate ideas to life
  • This will involve working in partnership with some of the most prolific media owners in the market – News UK, The Guardian, Haymarket, Telegraph, Mail Metro Media, Verizon, Teads, and Hearst as an example
  • It’s a varied role, comprising not only planning, implementation and evaluation of clients’ media activity, but leading the reporting output, ensuring continuity of the agency’s financial processes, managing client and media owner relationships, attending meetings, and contributing to the quality of the team’s output.
  • This means juggling lots of different tasks and sometimes working to multiple deadlines.
  • The role offers considerable autonomy, as you won’t be micro-managed, so there’s a lot of responsibility!

Key Responsibilities

  • Booking, tracking setup, reporting and reconciliation of clients’ digital campaigns.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting obstacles in campaign setup and performance.
  • Using a mixture of Industry tools and Mindshare specific systems (e.g., Prisma, Double Click, Sizmek, Nielsen).
  • Manage budget allocations and campaign optimisations with support from your Account Manager.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, e.g., media owners, clients and wider Mindshare/Group M teams.
  • Attend all relevant training sessions to understand the industry, your clients’ needs and how to apply these to your day-to-day role.

  • A ‘people person’ who can form strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Well organised with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A great communicator and team player.
  • Analytically minded, with the ability to identify trends within data sets
  • Proactive in improving your knowledge and capability
  • Experience using basic features of PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel (e.g., Creating and formatting PowerPoint presentations, sorting and filtering data, creating graphs and tables)

Your life until now

GCSE and A Level (or equivalent) qualification. University degree is advantageous, but not essential.

About the Team

The Outcomes team forms part of the wider Mindshare Outcomes team which also includes Paid Search and Paid Social. Each team has its own individual requirements based on the client needs, but the ways of working and best practice are shared across all teams. The teams are responsible for planning, buying and managing Programmatic Display and Direct IO Display campaigns for complex global clients within the Automotive, Retail, FMCG, Finance and Technology industries.

This can be done in several ways; through using new formats, thinking of new ways to deliver on our commercial targets, making clever use of our partners’ first party data, or even just being creative in the way we brief, report and present.
