As the Analytics Technical Trainee, you will learn how to work with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4 GA360) in the onboarding, which will allow you to support and develop client projects.

You will learn about GMP, and in a near future support a senior consultant to ensure that clients get the most out of their technology investments across Google’s Marketing Platform, as well as the day-to-day management of client technology support.

Your key focus areas will be learning, through hands on experience, the measurement discovery, tracking, implementation, and optimization of clients marketing web properties & channels.
Working closely with a senior professional you will have the ability, in a near future, to identify commercial opportunities, develop and implement innovation and process optimization that will benefit the client and Acceleration.

You will need to be comfortable working individually, or as part of a team. By the end of the internship, you will be expected to lead assigned streams of work that are a part of a larger client engagement and support.​

In the forthcoming future you will be a subject expert on Google Analytics360, Google Tag Manager and secondary technologies. Your expertise will contribute and ensure that we remain one of Google’s trusted partners. Furthermore, you will have the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical clients together with the ability to interact with internal and external product management teams.

Typically, Client’s biggest area of investment is media, and using data and technology, to un-lock value in this area is critical.

Knowledge in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is a plus, alongside interest in cloud technologies, especially on Google Cloud which can improve marketing efforts.

You will develop expertise in Google Marketing Platform products and serve as a first-tier support contact and internal support escalation point.  We expect that you soon will support clients on troubleshooting issues, supporting business development on technical pre-sales, executing upon product implementation and training, supporting solutions consulting projects, for our clients.

By the end of the internship, you will have acquired knowledge in a variety of technologies like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Marketing Platform. In the long run, you will also develop client communication skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be able to get skills in digital measurement, web analytics, app tracking and audience strategy.

Will be working closely with senior consultants learning on the job, and consequently driving performance of analytics and optimization capabilities to impact the overall client's business results.

Provide support to other members of the team, including Business Development, Account Management and Consultants, therefore assisting us to deliver.

Support in identification and successful improvement of processes and frameworks

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
Previous experience using Google Analytics/Analytics360, GA4, Optimize/Optimize360 and Google Tag Manager, both web and apps in any of this will be advantageous.
User knowledge of other Google Marketing Platform Technologies is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail.
Clear communication processes and strategies are general requirements for internal and external teams.
