Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Data Strategy, Analytics & Measurement Lead to define and drive the data strategy and measurement agenda specifically for the Coca-Cola across Europe. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping how we leverage data to optimize Coca-Cola's media investments, measure campaign effectiveness, and demonstrate tangible ROI across diverse European markets. You will act as a central data, analytics and measurement expert, bridging the gap between Coca-Cola's business objectives, media planning and activation, and our analytical capabilities, ensuring we provide best-in-class insights, strategic recommendations and optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities: 
Data Strategy (Primary Focus): 
  • Develop and champion a comprehensive data strategy tailored to Coca-Cola's media objectives across Europe, encompassing the coordination of data collection (with other WPP companies), data partnerships, data integration, use cases compliance and data governance, and data activation using various media platforms, including activation strategies using TCCC’s 1PD assets. 
  • Integrate the data strategy and approach into the EU Experience Loop and Open Media Studio process, ensuring that all steps in the charter development, activation and measurement process are driven by data-led insights, and that data lives at the heart of each charter. 
  • Continually examine and innovate around data opportunities (1PD, 2PD, 3PD) with JBP partners and vendors, as well as around potential new data insight technologies or activation technologies, to create a culture of continual innovation around data topics, and a continual evolution of the data strategy, tools, and processes. Example: Evolving the strategic data approach around activation for Recruitment / WINR audiences. 
  • Collaborate closely with Coca-Cola's IMX teams, as well as internal OpenX data leads, media planning, buying, and client service leads, to understand their specific data needs and translate them into actionable data initiatives. 
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for data measurement within Coca-Cola's European media ecosystem, including the adoption of advanced analytics, measurement technologies, and methodologies to enhance media effectiveness. 
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of a clear data roadmap for Coca-Cola's European media efforts, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, operational efficiency, and market trends. 
  • Advocate for a data-driven culture within the OpenX team and with Coca-Cola stakeholders, promoting data literacy and best practices in media measurement and optimization. 
Measurement & Analytics (Secondary Focus): 
  • Strategic Leadership in Measurement: Shepherd the development of a sophisticated measurement framework specifically for Coca-Cola's media campaigns across all European markets, together with the global OpenX media measurement team. 
  1. Analytical Product Development: Provide vision and guidance for the creation and enhancement of scalable analytical products that provide actionable insights to Coca-Cola stakeholders and the OpenX team. 
  1. Evaluate and recommend appropriate analytics tools and technologies to enhance our measurement capabilities for Coca-Cola. 
  1. Ensure that complex analytical findings and the resulting strategic recommendations are clearly and concisely shared with diverse audiences, including senior Coca-Cola marketing leadership and the OpenX leadership team.
Qualifications: 
Required: 
  • Experience in data strategy, media analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and execution within a media agency, ad tech company, or a brand's in-house media team, ideally with experience on a major CPG/FMCG client. 
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive measurement strategies and frameworks for large-scale digital media campaigns and marketing performance. 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems and media objectives into analytical solutions and actionable insights. 
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio). 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior client stakeholders and internal teams. 
  • Deep understanding of the European media landscape and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). 
Preferred: 
  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, including statistical modeling, machine learning, or predictive analytics (e.g., Python, R). 
  • Deep understanding of various attribution models (e.g., last-click, linear, data-driven) and their application in media measurement. 
  • Familiarity with market mix modeling (MMM) or multi-touch attribution (MTA) solutions.
