Mindshare, MENA, part of Mindshare EMEA, spans 11 offices across markets (Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq) with local market teams and leads, reporting into the MENA CEO. In addition to the Markets, Mindshare also operates Centre of Excellence that works at a regional level to support and provide disciplines services to all 11 Markets. These Centers of Excellence include Corporate Development, Digital and Solutions, and Growth & Client Leadership.  

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
 
  •  Lead a telco planning, implementation and market excellence unit  in the UAE office.
    •  Maintain a deep understanding of your clients’ business and the broader industry sector.
  •  Own the day to day and where applicable, senior global client relationships and look for opportunities to broaden our relationship beyond marketing.
  •  Effectively lead the team working on the client’s business, building a strong collaborative and excellence culture, ensuring a consistent level of excellence every time.
  •  Quality control the overall deliverables to the client, in conjunction with the assigned specialist teams.
  •  Growing the C suite relationships, scope of service and client satisfaction.
  •  Navigate conversations with clients to ensure initiatives/briefs align with business goals.
  •  Foster innovative thinking and ideas with particular emphasis on content, digital and technology innovation, and the use of data, and the growth of commerce solutions.
  •  Demonstrate an understanding for client commercials including effective scoping of resources, quarterly forecasting & helping to identify opportunities for new revenue growth.
  •  Act as a change agent within Mindshare by showcasing great work and helping us to drive transformation across the business.
  •  Provide input into the marketing of our vision and reputation.
  •  Build collaboration with relevant WPP companies and agency partners including media owners, tech partners, content & data providers.
  •  Recruit, manage and develop a high performing team to support the scope of work and strategic plans for the client.
 Ideal Profile:
  •  The ideal candidate will be viewed as a thought leader across the brand building, data & technology landscape, including performance, digital ecosystems, digital transformation, analytics, and digital innovation, who key stakeholders look to for guidance on industry trends and topics and is someone who can represent Mindshare in the industry within their respective markets. The lead should have extensive relationships with key technology partners at a senior level with the ability to extract value from these partnerships. This would come from a proven track record in building strong regional and global client relationships, either within a media agency, a client organization, or a technology & data agency.
  •  The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the assigned clients’ industry sectors and business challenges, with experience in Telecom, and UAE Government Practice.
  •  10 years + experience in integrated media with an affinity towards Telecom experience.
  •  Strong understanding of customer data platforms and advance analytics solutions
  •  Previous experience recruiting, managing and inspiring a client team.
