Department overview

A regional centre of excellence is being established to build and maintain best practices in media operations and to support the markets in delivering transformation consistently across business and technology. 

The centre of excellence will be made up of programme management, change management, process ownership, business analysis and solution ownership. 

The roles are spread across the region and markets forming a programme that works as one team to meet common objectives. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Overall responsibility for strategy and direction of ongoing media process improvement
  • Overall responsibility for driving the continuous improvement of the E2E media processes (bottom-up)
  • Overall responsibility for implementing transformation initiatives for the E2E media process (top down)
  • Oversees the Regional Process Owners to drive process standardization, simplification and improvement initiatives across the media E2E process. Escalation point for the RPOs
  •  Owns the EMEA media process transformation project portfolio and responsible for its delivery within budget and to time
  • Responsible for aligning with global project initiatives for the media processes
  • Ensure integration of improvement initiatives across the E2E process and drive the prioritization of initiatives based on business needs, resources and budget
  • Ensure adherence to regional process policies/controls and perform quality reviews to monitor risks
  • Provide oversight for adherence to and improvement of media process KPIs both in the agencies, GroupM functions and in the Hub
  • Drive leadership and key stakeholder buy-in to improvement initiatives and sits on Steering Committees for major projects

 Essential experience required

  • 12+ years team and project management experience, with a track record of continuous improvement and strategic partnering in a multinational environment
  • Exposure in media & advertising industry is a must
  • Solid understanding of E2E media process operations (including IT environment and process variation across EMEA)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to deal with different nationalities, cultural background and conventions in EMEA
  • Understanding and appreciation of how to operate and deliver change within the varied cultural environments in the EMEA region
  • Key role as a leader and motivator to a start-up team

  • Versed in Business Continuity Planning
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Business fluent in English
