Studio Content Manager

You will be an ambitious content creator with experience in creating a wide range of digital content for websites and social media. You will have experience of managing client relationships and team workloads, as well as practical design, photography & videography and editing skills, with considerable experience with Adobe Suite & Figma.

In this role you will be working with some of the UK's leading brands, as well as supporting creative briefs across wide range of clients and industries.

1 - Social Media Planning, Content Creation & Delivery
Managing the social media account for one of the UK's best loved household consumable brands, you'll be planning, shooting, editing and activating social creative for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, in line with client briefs and objectives.

2 - Image Sourcing, Editing & Graphic Production
Working as part of a large content production team, you'll be managing the image sourcing, editing and graphic production for one of the World's leading travel brands.

 

Reporting to the Creative Lead with a dotted line to the Studio & Influencer Lead at Wavemaker UK, the Studio Content Manager plays a key role in creating content across the organisation.

 

You should be passionate about creating with content, technology and media to actively integrate brands into everyday life.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Be currently working with a brand, media owner, agency or production house and be ready for a career-defining next step.
  • Have the opportunity to solve briefs within your specialism working directly with senior stakeholders and multiple creative skillsets in a small creative unit that covers priority new business, client-facing and internal communications projects.
  • Create and deliver engaging effective best in class photographic, video, social and audio content as your primary focus.
  • Be a creative editor with the ability to tell a story, land a message or evoke an emotion within 6 seconds to 30 seconds in a compelling way - primarily audio-visual video with animation and motion graphics skills
  • Have excellent editing skills, both audio and visual, with an art director’s eye.
  • Have a wealth of video and audio references to draw from and always on the look out for a distinctive way for your content to show up and the message to get across
  • Be as much of a creative as you are a technician – driven to transform ideas into reality – creating work whether that’s adaptation using existing assets to create a new distinctive video or origination from concept to deliver that will stand out and move people
  • Have the ability to grasp a concept and translate it with originality and sensitivity

  • Understands the principles of Production management 
  • Understands the need to work with the right skillsets  to get the job done 
  • Understands the importance of tailoring ways of working appropriately to the type of project and stakeholders 
  • Builds a working knowledge of the key elements of the production process and steps in that process through Planning & Scheduling, Resource Management, Risk Management
  • Understands the principles of Project Leadership 
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of the key elements and how to effectively, consistently, and efficiently foster teamwork, trust, and information sharing to achieve shared goals 
  • Develops Production Project plans collaboratively and keeps people informed throughout the project 
  • Demonstrates attention during discussions by taking notes and asking clarifying questions and is aware of non-verbal behaviour/cues (i.e., body language) when listening and communicating
