About the Product & Engineering team

The Choreograph Product & Engineering team is responsible for building the technology platform that powers the way we create audiences, forecast, price, and optimise cross-channel campaigns.  It is a propriety solution which has a fast-expanding user base across markets, agencies, and clients.  There is an extensive roadmap of developments that is required to support all the use cases and channels. 

The team consists of several specialist areas, all involved in product and system development, these include, product management, project management, data science, technical design, and technical account management. 

Intro to the role

We are seeking a product leader who will be responsible for strategic planning tech solutions. The role will involve the development and maintenance of a client-centric, cross-media planning tools used to allocate media investment for GroupM agencies. The work will be collaborative, working with developers, UI/IX designers, data science, and the management of a product owner team to create best media planning solution on the market, and ensure seamless integration into Choreograph/GroupM systems and connection to other app in media planning/buying process.

The role will be based in Warsaw and reports to the VP of Strategic Campaign Planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of media industry with the focus on strategic planning and experience of delivering platforms, products, and services across large global enterprises. The candidate must be particularly collaborative and work well across a matrix organisation, in many markets, and with senior executive management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading team of Product Owners/Managers, and working closely with ancillary teams like data science, development, and engineering. 
  • Ensure dependencies between Product teams are clear and managed, with the necessary input and requirements.
  • Be responsible for setting standards of work for the team and managing workloads
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand and distil their needs. Consistently seeking quantitative and qualitative feedback from stakeholders/users to increase the adoption and usage of your products.
  • Use data to inform and guide your product strategies and plans.
  • Contribution to the business model and value proposition for a specified set of products, tools, and underlying data solutions.
  • Help ensure there is a clear market fit between the needs of our agencies and clients and the products provided by your teams.
  • Contribution to the overall vision, product goal, roadmap, and backlog for the products in your portfolio.
  • Work with senior management to execute against product roadmap, focusing on the timely delivery and realizing the maximum value to the business
  • Produce requirement documents, user stories, and other artifacts for your product to guide the product’s engineers
  • Define and monitor metrics to measure success and the impact of development efforts
  • Manage and prioritize the product roadmap and its backlog
  • Foster a strong partner with the engineering, design, and data science teams to ensure team cohesion
  • Support your development and product teams through product reviews, complete user acceptance testing, and sign-off against the requirements and specifications. Brief and train internal and external teams on new product releases
  • Collaborate with other Choreograph product teams to align goals and requirements across related Choreograph products

 

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who can display the following attributes:

  • A strong understanding of how agencies and advertisers use data technology to support their business operations and strategies, channels effectiveness and performance metrics in particular
  • Experience in using agile methodologies, such as Scrum to deliver technical product and data solutions
  • Demonstrable experience of being able to operate and lead in fast-paced and dynamic product-led environments
  • Experience in working within international environment
  • Experience in C-level stakeholder management
  • Experience in people management
  • A strong work ethic: able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver results, managing several projects simultaneously
  • Good communication, presentation, and influencing skills; with an ability to think creatively and present in a manner that inspires and excites
  • Comfortable and thrive in a corporate matrix environment
  • Highly analytical and data-driven
  • Outcome oriented
  • Full command of English – C1 level
  • Experience of working with Jira
  • Experience in using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver technical products and data solutions
  • 3-5 years’ experience in product management (as a product manager or product owner)
