To assist the Global Account Directors in their delivery in terms of media planning, buying, administrative, and in the annual deals negotiations with key media partners, to develop media knowledge and skills as well

General Mission

 

  • Assist Global Account Directors, in participating to preparatory documents rather it be for strategy/recommendation (target analysis, insight, competitive analysis, etc), planning, buying, booking or administrative tasks and control.
  • Day to day follow-up of campaigns / plans
  • Support Manager and participate in the annual deals negotiations with key media partners (ie brief, analysis of proposal, negotiations, etc)
  • Participate to the preparation of relevant reports and formats as required by your managers

Media scope: Pan Regional – offline and Online. Online supported and driven by the Global Digital Activation Manager

 

Product Delivery, People Management & Relationships

 

 

  • Produce briefs for media vendors
  • Produce media plans with the manager’s support
  • Book the campaigns, follow-up in terms of performances and budget
  • Ensure quality in deliverables in a timely manner with the manager’s support
  • Annual deals negotiation with key media partners: assist your manager in all the aspects of it and participate to meetings with media vendors
  • Accurate reporting of client and competitor activity
  • Develop buying and negotiation skills with the manager’s support
  • Build good relationships with the media vendors
  • Develop personal assertiveness, confidence and communication skills
  • Build media knowledge base and a wider industry understanding
  • Curiosity to market insight, competitive knowledge, open his/her mind, be aware of new opportunities
  • Attend all scheduled training/development sessions
  • Develop an understanding and usage of internal/external systems / tools (e.g. MediaManager, Eagle Edge, MAP, etc) and research and tools (e.g. Ipsos Affluents Kantar, etc)
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and approachable to other members in the team

 

 

 

 

  • Build client business and product knowledge and understand their media objectives
  • Assist Global Account Directors in their client servicing
  • Consistently accurate admin. No client or process issues as a result of poor administration
  • Respect of deadlines

 

Administration & Organisation

 

 

  • Check positioning of ads (offline and online) and follow up any associated problems with buying, alerting your managers as appropriate
  • Prepare media excel plan and for any client’s media system
  • Implement in the financial system MediaManager the buying details
  • Provide to media owners the insertion orders signed
  • Develop full understanding of MediaManager
  • Prepare relevant reports depending on client’s needs
  • Prepare synopsis and media updates (ie competitive reports, media insights / overview, etc)
  • Ensure accurate and rigorous admin tasks, possibly liaising with our Finance department and client one
  • Meet deadlines
  • Develop IT skills: XLS, PPT, etc
  • Undertake other duties as defined by your managers

 

 

 

PROFILE AND SKILLS

 

  • 0 to 2 / 3 years’ experience in media
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Must be international minded
  • Affinity with the luxury universe / market
  • Personally confident, with good communication skills (internal & external relationships)
  • Rigorous, accurate, well organized, reliable, reactive, proactive, adaptability
  • Attention to details oriented
