The Team:

MediaCom are recruiting for an exciting Global Product Associate Director role that works on the Global Systems Planning Product team developing products for use across MediaCom's broad portfolio of clients. The team manages MediaCom's Planning Operating System that hosts the vast suite of products our people in 125 offices across 100 countries use to service their clients. We are a dynamic, collaborative team responsible for all workstreams supporting and evolving the OS, this includes integrating existing products into the OS as well as developing new products. Our responsibility ranges from initial design of new products and features, through development, rollout, marketing, communications, and ongoing support of our people as they use our products.



The Role: 

The Global Product Associate Director is an integrator role for the Global Systems Planning Product team. The overall purpose is to integrate the multiple workstreams, and the focus is to continuously evolve MediaCom’s Planning Operating System to meet client and market needs.



  1. Progresses the programme by setting priorities, integrating workstreams and flexing day to day depending on status of team and product.


Working with and integrating their respective workstreams:

  1. Product Tech Lead to oversee evolution and maintenance of the platform/product.
  2. Planning Lead to onboard and customise the OS for client teams and markets. Identify opportunities for product evolution. Support users.
  3. Marketing & Communications Lead to drive stakeholder awareness and user adoption of the platform across the network.
  4. User Support & Devops Lead to identify opportunities for product evolution, product testing, product maintenance, management of support desk queries and product documentation.
  5. Programme Director and senior stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress.
  6. MediaCom stakeholders to achieve programme goals.
  7. External vendors to manage their delivery.


You will work closely with the Global Programme Director, Global Director of Innovation, Marketing Lead, Global Planning Associate Director, User Support & Devops Lead, Project Manager, and stakeholders at all levels across the globe.


Reporting into you will be the User Support & Devops Lead and Project manager. The Project manager will dedicate 50% of their time to support you delivering your product workstreams. The Project Executive will spend the other 50% of their time supporting the Global Programme Director on other product projects.






Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability:


  • Project management of ongoing product development.
  • Organise and lead meetings across the workstreams.
  • Collect, evaluate, and action feedback from stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for future development to evolve and future proof the platform.
  • Lead the relationship with vendors.
  • Collaborate with vendor project managers to ensure project is on track.
  • Brief suppliers on development work requirements.
  • Training ensure that we have appropriate training in place to keep our people across the network trained on new and existing apps.
  • Marketing & internal comms – work with our global marketing team to ensure we have a marketing programme in place to support System Planning.
  • Ensure the programme is on budget and delivery on time.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and share outcomes with team.
